Cachia and AJ look like they could go okay in the ring.

The others look like they're swatting flies.:p
Cachia can take care of himself ... I remember from back in the TAC.

On a side note - I hope we see more rev ups from the boxing coach pre-game this year :)

I reckon that we will be seeing the old 'throbbing veins' standing out on Micks neck as he gives the boys as massive rev up at quarter and 3/4 time...

Back over the line

Mick Malthouse crossed over, but just for a little while.

Collingwood supplied Mick with retirement. The black-and-white tiles under his feet cracked and broke away. The decision was made above him and around him.
So he wandered out - passing the growing flowers, singing birds and a restful life - and went straight into the media. Signing on with the Channel Seven and 3AW footy teams, the famously irritable Malthouse, who had little patience for those media types and their bloody silly questions, found himself smiling into the camera and asking a few questions of his own.

But before his freshly printed press pass had the chance to curl at the ends, he swapped it for a Carlton jumper and a ''coach'' car park.

On the rise: Zach Tuohy
Killer quality: His sheer power – in bursting through packs and especially in his kicking. Tuohy is probably the best kick among the Irish imports to play the game and can also unleash the odd ball-bursting torpedo into the centre of the ground. Also capable of drilling goals from outside 50.

Best performance: Produced one of his best games in the 10-goal win over Collingwood in round three at the MCG. Provided terrific run, was uncompromising in his attack on the contest and even drifted forward early to nail a goal from outside 50. Had just 11 touches but showed just how valuable he can be in a cohesive team.
On the rise: Zach Tuohy

The video from that news article...

Goals against WC and Collingwood were beastly.

Tuohy can really pull out a big time goal for someone who is new to the game...

Carlton spoilt for big-man choices, with Chris Judd to focus on play
Big men Jarrad Waite, Matthew Kreuzer, Levi Casboult, Luke Mitchell, Shaun Hampson and Sam Rowe are all expected to be available for early-season selection, providing Blues coaches with a welcome problem they rarely confronted last year.

"We've ban far too reliant on Eddie (Betts) and Jeff (Garlett) and 'Walks' (Andrew Walker) to kick goals and reliant on 'Waitey' (Jarrad Waite) to stand up as a tall forward,'' Barker said.

" We could not get consistently healthy talls last year, so having these guys fit and available is going to be critical for us.

"The good thing is all of them who had some small and big issues last year, they are all ready to go.

"Mick philosophically is really keen to make sure we are fit and healthy at this stage of the year and we are.''

"He's a pro in everything he does, Waitey, but he's another one we can't keep relying on to be our only tall target,'' he said.

"We need other guys to stand up and give themselves every opportunity with a healthy pre-season.

"It's great to have guys like Sammy Rowe up and about after his illness (cancer). Levi Casboult is training really well.''

My favourite part;
"You want to be there at the pointy end of the season, but I don't think there is any point putting out (expected) positions in the top eight."
I never liked our predictions in the last few years of "make the finals", "win a final" and "make top 4". It always put limits on what we could achieve and only ever set us up for failure. Much better attitude and approach from the club this year.

From the article on Carrazzo in line to lead Carlton.
"Carrazzo, 29, became a father to triplets LATE last season".
With his triplets soon to have their first birthday, how hard is it for a journo to get some simple facts right?

Sam Lonergan to be played by Rutger Hauer.
Dolph Lundgren. Carrazzo's premiership speech to be:

'During this game, I've seen a lot of changing, in the way you feel about us, and in the way we feel about you. In here, there were two teams killing each other, but I guess that's better than twenty million. I guess what I'm trying to say, is that if we can change, and you can change, everybody can change!'

Gary Busey odds-on to land the Crazy Vossy cameo.

After seeing the two go head to head in Celebrity Apprentice, I was kind of hoping Meatloaf would reprise his GF entertainment role as well. Fev to be played by Kevin Federline, formerly athletic boozehound turned booze bus. Britney will be a great choice as Alex.
