Rock the Casboult !!!

I have a feeling that he looms large in Mick's plan for our success.

We've said for years we need a pack-crasher... he is it and then some. Absolutely fearless, plays with the heart only a True Blue possesses, will drain his tank dry to make sure he does his beloved club proud.

Personally very excited to see what the confidence of a coaching legend can do for his football.

Finally, we have someone that opposition defences will have nightmares about!

Just watching those highlights got me thinking that with Levi's kicking for goal issues, whether he should adopt a similar approach to Stevie Johnson & perhaps kick across his body, because he doesn't seem to have any problems when facing away from the goals.
The GC game was an aberration.

He was tanking. ;)

Jarrad Waite says Blues are drug free

CARLTON forward Jarrad Waite is adamant the club is drug-free and says he would welcome daily testing to prove it.

Waite backed the AFL's three-strike drug policy but expected the league and AFLPA to closely scrutinise the self-reporting loophole at tomorrow's drugs summit.

Waite insisted Visy Park was a drug-free zone and said any player "stupid" enough to take drugs was jeopardising their football career.
"I don't see any of it. I wouldn't mind if I got tested every day of the week, because I don't do it," Waite said on a day out with Lygon St locals.
"If they want to do more tests, that's good because I've got full confidence, especially at Carlton, that we don't have a drug culture here.
“I would be very surprised if professional athletes were putting their careers at risk by doing drugs and doing stupid things like that.
"Personally, if I got tested every day, it would annoy me, but it wouldn't bother me because I don't do drugs."

Casboult's ball drop and the angle of his boot as he connects favours his aim if he's kicking from the pocket. His version of Buddy's arc. :D

Special announcement?

If not the captaincy, then..........?
PVB to play at next year's Big Day Out. ;)

Haven't seen this article before...

Robinson has role to play

"I interviewed Mitch at a training camp, and he immediately grabbed me," Malthouse said.

"I know he's a bit out there and hasn't been a clean-skin his entire life, but I like what I see.

"I see the enthusiasm, I see the want and I see a player that I like. He's critical to me."

"Aaron had a good start (to his career), and then fell away, and I'd like to know why that's happened," he said.

"(Davies) is another one like that, but he's a bit younger. The question is has he underachieved or is he under-utilised. I don't know if he is a good footballer, but I want him to show me he is."

Dear Aaron Joseph,
is it true that you are currently in a band called the PVB'S? If this is true, who is in the band and what instrument do you play?
Also, can you perform at my birthday party?
GO BLUES!!!1!!!

Aaron Joseph: Thanks for your question Mitch Robinson! And it is true. PVB stands for Pascoe Vale Boys and you are currently in the band with me. Simon White could also have a future as a band manager if all goes well. I play the guitar and kind of look at my playing somewhat similar to Slash’s. And it’s your birthday today! So maybe I can go out of my way to play you a little birthday song.

Good words from Malthouse. You can see why he's great at extracting the best out of his players. Really knows how to push their buttons.

Jarrad is obviously just saying what needs to be said in the media. But there's no such thing as a drug free club these days.
Carlton has a zero tolerance to drugs... we have proved it in the past when we sacked Angwin on the spot for showing up at training on an E or 2...

Why think that Jarrad is saying what needs to be said. The boys are a tight knit bunch and anyone taking drugs would stand out.

And it wasn't just Angwin who was moved on, but the others were moved on quietly, without fuss. The club sent a strong message to players about its attitude to drugs & that is why I am confident Jarrad Waite was not just spinning a line.

I seem to remember us having this chat privately in the past I think... either yourself or one of the other guys here.

There might have been a few guys playing back in the 80s and 90s who were using drugs (I seem to remember hearing that the hyphen apparently used to partake of a little white powder before games) but the club seems to have put their foot down quite heavily on that sort of thing when the Angwin incident came to light.

I know he's supposedly slimmed down but one thing I noticed about these photos is how massive Kreuzer is. Those arms and legs look to be very powerful.
Weird that the player on Watson's right appears to be the same height. Doesn't look 195 cms.

Is that Robinson?

Watson's and Mitchell's legs/calf muscles are twice the size of Menzel's. Big boys.
