Our forward line is a relative strength of our side. If we went for Dowler i don't think it would be because of positional considerations. Maybe they see him as having the best engine of the KPP, or more potential to play at both ends? From what people have told me he is also quicker than the other KPP in this draft. A good height (may still grow a couple of cm), is a good contested mark and a booming straight kick. He sounds alright to me. If next years draft is considered to be so strong, i personally don't have a problem with a couple of "high-risk, high-reward" options in this draft (e.g. Dowler, Pendlebury).
