Carlton player list status

With 9 players now delisted or retired:

Chambers
French
Davies
Deluca
McGrath
Livingston
Sporn
Longmuir
Prendergast

and Flint promoted we've got 30 on our list plus Kouta as veteran.

Our draft picks are:

Gibbs, 17,19,35,51,67,83.

and PSD: Ackland

Brings us to 38 plus Kouta plus rookie Jackson (and international rookie aisake).

My question is do we have to fill the 38th spot on our list with draft pick 83 or a 2nd psd pick? Or can we if we wanted include Kouta in the numbers and get an extra rookie?

I'm just wondering if it's safer to go an extra rookie with this pick if we can.

Yes last year Kouta was on the main list & we had 6 rookies.

Deluca retired and won't be playing footy anymore, if you read the paper it states he wants to persure other personal carrers and options.
