I've listed this as "rumour" as per BF guidelines, however it is fact.

We have another potential Pagan vs. Mitchell, Ratten vs. Icke scenario currently taking place:

Justin Cordy vs. Shane O'Sullivan.

Word is that there is a bit of a power struggle between the two of them - both do not speak to eachother and rarely meet during the year.

O'Sullivan apparantly unhappy with Cordy's hiring/firing/management of club medical staff/trainers/runners without being consulted as the Football Admin Manager, also concerns about overlapping into eachothers roles as Cordy beleives O'Sullivan has too much of a direct input into training and on-field matters etc

Is VISY Park big enough for the both of them? ... if it did come to the crunh - look for O'Sullivan to leave.

Hardly earth shattering news I know, but I figured any news is better than no news during this period.

Maybe not earth shattering but when you are making a charge towards a flag, as we should be in 2012/13, we need to everyone on the same page (to use an over-used cliche !).

All seems pretty clear to me...

We have a cycling coach and a cyclist? WTF is a cyclist for?

Coaches are the ones with the technical knowledge and obviously we see cycling as a very important part of rehab. However coaches being experienced are not necessarily able to go out with the player each time he goes out on the road, and evaluate him, and keep him out of trouble. I'd say the cyclist is just an hands on assistant cycling coach more than anything.

If true it's not unusual in the workplace. Probably worthwhile for someone higher up the food chain to tell them to get over it and re-define who's responsible for what but as long as it doesn't effect the job getting done I don't care if they don't like each other.

If it's fact then move on Shane O'. You've been a fixture at the club for so long and had your hand in that many draft stuff-ups I think you should be gracious and let a new breed do things their way.

Couldn't agree more. DH has been of so much value to us recently, SO should be the one to move on.

However, who the hell do these 2 think they are? Jesus Christ fellas build a bridge, the club is bigger than the individual

Shane O is very very popular with the players.
He has opened his home to recruits for many years and acts as a second "father" to the interstate boys.
He manages the administration of the club including all the office staff.
It is natural in any organisation that people that are entrenched, can sometimes offer opinions where they are not invited or welcome.
I have not heard of this unrest, however my source is no longer at the club, as of the end of the season.
Genuinely good bloke Shane O. Never met Cordy but they're both grown ups.

p.s. Shane O got me into the rooms a number of times when it was a "full House"
