CARLTON SALARY CAP

You should take a look at how many of your guys posted on our boards after our loss. This is a general forum on salary cap. Or isn’t it?

Don’t particularly care what happens on your board.

You’d get a better response here if you weren’t trolling.

But I get that some Pies fans look to Fudge as an example, so there are some who should just be ignored.

Best to just ignore.

Because the Pies completely mismanaged their cap it’s inconceivable to these shmucks that other clubs won’t follow suit.

Because of course the Pies are the best at everything until they aren’t.

Ned Guy was the best list manager until he wasn’t.

Dekka Hine was the best recruiter until he wasn’t.

Eddie was the best president until he wasn’t.

Bucks was the best coach until he wasn’t.

They had a great year and still can’t help but post about Carlton. Must be a coping mechanism.

After all…they were in contention, and then they weren’t.
Proud to be lifters, whereas you guys are leaners

The lifters this century are Geelong, Sydney, West Coast and Collingwood

The leaners - Carlton, Essendon, Gold Coast and North Melbourne

The lifters are the ones providing the marketable product and paying everyone's wages

???
Strange argument when you forget to mention clubs (Brisbane and Hawthorn) that have won more flags than the Pies this century.

Not sure what you are talking about has anything to do with the Salary Cap anyway.

This century you’ve lifted 1 cup more than Carlton.

Hardly something worth bragging about, plenty of other clubs have done similarly and better.

Everything else is just fluff. As I said, a coping mechanism for yesterday’s result.

The 4 lifters are consistently in the finals, consistently playing 6-month seasons instead of 5 and providing the high-end, money-spinning product which is finals, and doing all of that without high draft picks

You should be more grateful

Carlton could finish bottom for another decade and still be a high money-spinning product.

You should think more before you post.

"If you’re not first, you're last" isn't it Ricky Bobby? 🙄
Only way it ever should be looked at, you can shove your participation medals where they fit.

I can't even remember who Melbourne beat last year let alone who made a prelim or finals no one cares except the supporters of those clubs hanging onto it as a form of success.

Yep, the Carlton money-spinning 'product':

Sept to March - We're building, next season is when we finally arrive! Plenty of material for journos.
April to July - Joy, disappointment, excitement, frustration... Ongoing material for journos.
August - Carlton have imploded again! The time of the season journos lick their lips when reporting on Carlton.

Rinse and repeat.

And the sports media's jobs are so easy - they just reuse the same articles, change a few names (including usually the coach) and change the year.

Go away troll. It’s hard enough having a discussion in here without your drivel.

Really? You've already forgotten last year's GF? Sounds like you've got Alzheimer's disease, try to remember to see a doctor about it.

Amazing how the systematic team targeted trolling virtually every day is just ignored from this idiot.

Offers nothing but baiting and hate comments day in day out.

Actually, Ned Guy said there 'was no issue'g with the cap! haha.
Acres at $350k pa because you have nothing left.

At least we went for Taranto, McStay, Hill and Frampton. McStay at $600k pa (although I have heard its actually lower than that) doesn't sound like a club with major cap issues. It's definitely thawed and will continue over the next year or 2.
So McStay at $600k is good business? And Frampton has done SFA in 7 years...doubt he suddenly comes alive now...

Frampton for the Pies is a funny one.

Most Crows fans expected him to be delisted.
