Carlton should trade picks 3 & 38 for Saints Picks 7 & 8. St Kilda are then guaranteed of getting one of the big mids in either Raynor, Uniacke, Cerra or sorry mental blank on the last one . Carlton can then use 7 to hopefully get Higgins who will be a gun mid/forward or Jayden Stephenson who is a gun on the wing or forward and has outside pace or get both with 7 & 8. Or we can use 8 for Shache & pick 19 from Brisbane and then on trade 19 for Devon Smith when Essendon can't get it done or Saad as they won't get both done. Next years 2nd rd for Kennedy of course.

That will give us either Higgins, Stephenson and Kennedy or Higgins, Shache, Kennedy and either Smith or Saad. Good trade and draft period for Blues

CFC 1st rounder 2018 a pick probably range 4 or 5 would easily be worth this year's 1st pick on its own.

Any list manager that thought about that deal would be fired. Who wouldn't deal 3 and Carlton's first rounder which is likely a top 4 or 5 pick in next year's draft, which is stacked. Pick 3 and a top 5 pick next year for 7 and 8? lol

Don't be so sure.
There is some talk that Brisbane are considering Cerra as they believe that he is less likely to have concerns about potentially wanting to return home at some point.
I could see Brisbane trading down a few picks even, if they could perhaps remain in the top 5 and secure a future asset in return
