Just to tell you that Fat Red, ODN's, Meg, Bee and myself are the only ones who can trade and have the final say.

There hasn't been much trading action with Carlton players.

Making a rule that there are no untouchables except for SOS and Braddles. However I have permission to laugh at you Macca if you try giving me Paul Koulouritis for Scott Camporeale.

Some possible deals (what do you think Blues fans?):

The Lions are interested in Luke Livingston, Trent Sporn or Simon Wiggins to strengthen areas where the Lions could be weakened in a couple of years. Would be prepared to trade either a Lions rookie on a one for one basis or a fringe player at the Lions for two of these.

No chance. A fringe player at the lions for TWO of these players??? You must be kidding. These are great kids, who were 4, 11 and 14 in last years draft and you want two of them for Knobel, Robbins or the like???

Firstly, I have noticed all of these trade threads and I don't know why they are all here and how they work. If someone can give me a brief run-down, it would be much appreciated.

Can we offer players for trade?

I am thinking a Porter/Prestigiacomo trade would be mutually beneficial. There could be picks involved as well of course, but given the imminent retirement of SOS and the near complete absence of key-position backs, this trade would help Carlton.

Please don't underestimate Presti. As a nullifying full-back he is one of the best in the comp. If he could just get some run into his game and carry the ball, he could be one of the best FBs in the game!

There is no way in Hell Carlton can/will/should trade Ryan Houlihan. I think he shows enough to be the next James Hird. I personally wouldn't give up Franchina either unless he was part of a package to get Barry Hall.

Simon Beaumont is one player, i think that Carlton could off load to get an early draft pick.

Sounds like a very good deal to me, the only worry is that Allan is consistantly injured.... would it be better to trade Allan for Croad, instead of Porter?

That sounds like a fair deal to me, but I can't accept without talking to the others first.
What do the rest of you think about it? Sound good? The only thing Tarrant lacks though, is consistancy.
So far though Mags, I think you've got a deal coming your way.
