Still seem unable to prevent teams getting run-ons against them, can’t defend transition and seem to be treading water through another season.

Granted they have traded in a number of players and gone through a rebuild I thought they’d be far advanced than what they’re showing.

Midtable and probably finals I reckon. Very good clearance side, and have a brilliant spine with McKay, Curnow, Cripps, Walsh and Weitering. But won't impact while they leak goals or allow run-ons the way they do.

I don’t mean to be disrespectful toward Teague but I’d find it impossible to believe that nothing has changed.

Carlton were appallingly coached last season. Zero defensive focus. How Teague ever got the job should have been the subject of a serious review and I’m sure it was.

Even if Voss doesn’t turn out to be some super coach, he’s spent the past decade working and learning in coaches boxes so it’s hard to believe he wouldn’t have some decent idea of what he’s doing and the main issues he had to fix.

End of the day you can train and train all you like, it’s no substitute for game day. These changes take time.

Funny and well deserved thread in terms of what was put out by a certain Carlton nuffy but nah, they're on the way up. It takes time for the big changes to happen but they're well and truly on the right path. Voss's influence is easy to see on their midfield
