AND Kane Lucas, Thornton should be in the team FFS! Even Curnow! The coaching is giving Carlton no hope of a win. Lucas is a gun, he just needs to be given a go. He really reminds me of a Simpson / Camporeale.

Was one of our better contributors last night but hasn't had his best last few weeks before that, are we afraid to give credit where its due as it waters down our dislike of player/coach? .. and in the next breaths you want TBird and praise the contribution of Scotto, Carrots and Judd. .. None of these are Young Players or is the exception to playing young players only directed at removing the players you don't like?

My partner, a Dogs fan, took a week break from work after the school holidays so that we could go up to the Gold Coast. Happens to fall on the Dogs game. At this point in time I'm thanking the sweet lord that she chose that week.

If you think Alex Silvagni is a much better player than Zac Dawson then you know SFA about Fremantle and have likely watched just the 1 game this year.

Zac Dawson - the single worst player in the history of the AFL. Sincerely he makes Aaron Joseph look as gifted as Diesel Williams.

Have watched fifteen St. Kilda games each of the past several years. I've also seen about 60-70% of Silvagni's career games and most of Dawson's Dockers games.

Gibbs was moved to the backline because Ratten is a defensive coach, thats what creative players should be used for, to tag. Thats all you need to know about Ratten, it says it all, he lives in fear.

Right. If the backline is under siege, who would you move there? A ruckman? Eddie Betts? Or maybe a tall utility who has proven himself there before?

Not sure what,s happening v the cats & eagles we looked good....the Hawks are a bit one paced in the midfield this wasn't exploited, with simmo tagged, i would have moved eddie or yarran in, really didn,t give the opposition coaching staff much to think aboutn.... Very disappointing.

get game time into young prospects in positions we need, drop down the ladder and hopefully get a decent pick. have a great, injury free preseason and hopefully do a west coast or adelaide. i remember when eagles finished last they constantly missed players like kerr, cox and a few others and were as bad as we have looked at times this year. they recruited well and got there important players back and turned it around the next year. they kept their coach but he was a premiership coach, its getting to the point that if we dont beat kangas and bulldogs, ratts will go.

And we'll stuff the early pick anyway, the club just makes dumb decision after dumb decision.

i can only give joseph measured praise. after half time is when he probably did his best work. i can remember giving his 3rd free kick to rioli early in the second.
aside from that anyway, rioli in the past few weeks has not done as well as he might normally. joseph did fairly well but got rioli at a good time.

Don't make things up. Kevin Sheehan's bio of Watson prior to the 2010 draft described Watson as "a left footed tall defender with a penetrating kick....and had a consistent Under 18 Championships, winning All-Australian honours."

Watson described himself as a "strong defensive player who enjoys a challenge against a good CHF."

Seriously , when i had at look at the selected side ,just knew that they would be spanked.This side is playing without soul,imagination or camaraderie at all.I am not privy to internal rumblings but something is clearly amiss. Can Betts play back eg: a Harbrow type role,would love to see Gibbs play a midfield high forward role changing with Simpson,Run Garlett and Yazz off the wings,play Collins and Lucas forward and get Waite if he ever gets fit to the backline.3 Rucks is rubbish if we have a young KPF play him the season is now stuffed.
Ratten constantly rewards players for poor efforts and the individualism in this club is cancerous.The team puts more effort into goal celebrations,silly shorts and team discipline eg: Mclean is pathetic as was his fine.
All i can ask as a member is some imagination from the coaches and hopefully enjoy some young blokes putting there collective hands up so at least i can actually enjoy watching a competitive Carlton.

It is ok playing a forward in the ruck occasionally but a ruck forward just doesnt work! & they do it with ****ing two of them! Kreuzer is obviously injured and not confident. He took his first overhead mark in about 6 weeks. Warnock is a ****ing soft****! No point playing if your a ****ing witches hat that cant get the ball. Why play on when your 206cm & someone is a ****ing metre behind you!

Ever heard of defensive pressure every time one of off numerous shit butchers of the ball turned it off they had about 6 players running back with no one on them. Down hill ****ing skiers! Too much icing in our team and not enough cake! Someone needs to win the ball before these outside softcocks can run away with it! As soon as the going gets tough we disappear!

I like duigan but for a supposed smart man he is ****ing stoopid & clumsy sometimes!

Aaron Joseph is ok at stopping at times but that is all he provides, would probably be a better player without arms as he cant **** up!

Jamo needs to stop holding his ****ing man, back yourself in for christ sake or maybe get some ****ing help off i'll stand in the middle of no contests nick duigan!

Walker has been on our list for about 8 years. In reality has played about 7 average years as a mid/back & one crackeras a forward! so why ****ing put him in the middle?? there is no target without him forward at the moment! bring in lucas if you need a ****ing mid!

Brock mclean has been good but he is not the answer

On a positive note I liked robinsons game, carrazzo was as good & gritty as ever & watson is definitely getting there!

Jordan Russell needs to come in & get ten games to see where his career is at!

McInness, Buckley & Mitchell all need a few games for blooding.

Bower is a stop gap & not worth pursuing anymore along with joseph.

Time to honestly put it away for the year, blood some younguns, tank & get a good draft pick. **** off our shitty game planned coach, piss off half the admin & book a ****ing holiday! Need to trade or we are done, gibbs/russell/any rucks for a decent ****ing forward. We havent had one since earl ****ing spalding & sticks!

We can't field a good side because a lot of our best players are in the stands, or shouldn't be playing because of form or injury. It's as simple as that. It's one of those years where everything goes wrong. It wouldn't matter if you had Jock McHale in the box - we'd still be cooked.

As for playing the kids - have you seen how the kids are going against third-rank opposition lately? For that matter, have you seen how senior players are going in the VFL?

Still, if the injuries keep piling up we may as well pull the plug on 2012, start drilling for draft picks and give kids a taste of senior experience. In the meantime, while there's a chance of playing finals we have to field our best available side - and that won't be one full of kids.
