Ideally, we'd see Hogg, Riley, Ramshaw, and Phillips all get promoted to the senior side for a stellar season.

But no... being signed to the VFL squad is very different to being signed to Carlton. What a joke. Bring back the old days of the real reserves for the senior squad. Because that's what they were. The reserves for the senior squad.

Tend to agree with the good old days, however for mine Riley a developing type and a need, Phillips a maybe as a gap/depth for HOF and Dean. Plenty to like about Hogg and Ramshaw, but not sure they move the dial.
