I rate Carlton's kids, they are awesome and pretty much THE BEST kids that are up and coming of all 16 clubs. But I am amazed at the ignorance in some of these posts of some of the crows youngsters as well. Clearly not watching football matches CLOSELY enough and UNDERSTANDING how good a player is and WILL be. You can't just say "oh I havent seen him therefore he is no good" or things like that. Staggered ppl don't know about MacKay, just purely and utterly staggered. Watch the NAB cup? or any of the games he has played so far this season. Terrific player who has slotted right in and is on the VB and Reilly path in terms of development. Vince, Douglas as well especially the former who is going to be a very good player.
Not a lot seems to wash across the border, that is well known but it is time for some supporters of EVERY club to start watching games a bit more closely and appreciating the talent out there rather than the usual immature cheap shot '

But back to the gameday - I am tipping the crows but not by a lot 10-15 points. Blues have a terrific ability to run and expose us down the guts if they get going and deliver to Fev quickly on the lead- Truck is too slow to stop him there but force the midfield into error with our best asset, our defensive pressure on the player, crowding their space and forcing the turnover, we should be ok. Truck will kill fev body on body if it comes to that. We should emplore Terry's triange and flood the midfield will absolutely kill Calrton's run.

What's the weather like over in Melbourne today guys? Is there any chance of wet weather footy today at the G. I'm only asking because i'm worried that if it does rain we will lose our home ground advantage to a certain degree.

That over the shoulder goal to Vince gets me when Fev is monstered by Bock and no whistle. The umpiring has been terribly against us in the second half. Very undeserved punishment in the end.

We need people to remember how down we have been for fresh legs today with Thornton and Hartlett gone early. They are exhausted out there.

surely you are joking. Frees were 15-5 your way at 3/4 time. We got some lucky ones in the last quarter (Waite goal and that one on Bock), but it only evened up. Umpiring had no influence on the result. None

Very lopsided, but everyone gets frustrated with their inconsistency. It's not the ones they do pay, but it can be the obvious ones they don't. However, I do agree that the umpiring had no bearing over the game. Adelaide were far too good for us today.
