What did you think of there performances and how so you rate them this year ?

Their performance was disappointing, after all the talk saying this was a chance to see where they were in the scheme of things. Now we know! Out of the 8, and not really deserving to be one of the final contenders this year.

The Coaching was poor - why did they leave Caven, Burton, Johnson and James on the bench for the whole of the first quarter? Burton was best on ground when he finally got there. Caven did well on Whitnell, and James did pretty well.

Perhaps the team also needs lessons on how to keep on their feet when playing on Melb grass. How many times did they slip at crucial moments?

Altogether a poor day and they can forget that garbage about winning a couple of quarters. Any team that lets the opposition kick 8 goals on them without scoring more than 2 points (one rushed) in the firs term has NO excuse.

Well for three quarters the game was fairly even in fact Adelaide were probably the better team. But in that first quarter the Blues were awesome.

That awesome quarter far outweighed the Crows good three quarters.

I know I am biased here but I still beleive that the three main contenders are Essendon, Carlton and Adelaide in that order as the teams are now.

These three teams have the least injuries and are all in good form. Adelaide has had injuries this year but most of last years regulars are back on the track now. Bomber & Blue injuries have been minimal all year.

The other main contender is Richmond who are injury ridden. If they can patch themselves up over the next 5 weeks they will make it a 4 horse race.

Yes I know we cant discount the Roos and I haven't, I just don't rate them that highly at the moment.
