Even with out them, we still should win. I mean, none of them played against the Bombers, and so far this year I rate the Bombers as the better side.

I would have liked either Chambers or Walker to play. We could have really exposed them for pace. Johnson's inclusion shows we're preparing for a scrappy game. Good inclusion IMO. Obviously it's still a bit weak in the backline, but Morrell and Norman should be better for the experience. Hopefully in the long-term this will strengthen our depth. It's a far-cry to the team we had out there in the Wizard Cup, but we should win regardless.

I wonder what's up with Livingston. Our defense really needs his help with Thornton gone. Is he still injuried or is he going to be given a run in the twos?

agreed ... our backline is going to struggle with holding down the potential forward line of Rocca, Tarrant and C Cloke .... obviously we need to control the ball in the midfield and make sure it doesnt get down there too often

We should win, but all you guys make a valid point in that we need to stop the Collingwood forward line by stopping the ball from going down there... simple as that, if we win more ball through the middle we will win easy... I dont write off the Pies Saturday, it's all about the midfield, which we SHOULD win.

Rocca and Tazza have done nothing yet which is a worry and they could not hit a target either...nothing is ever a certainly when playing essendon (as seen last week and that magicial final ) and collingwood are in the same boat

Hope your right! I was also surprised that Livo wasn't named. If Scott Lucas can run amok against our current backline then Tarrant or Rocca could easily kick a bag. Just hope Lance & Fev can do likewise & the midfield play to their potential. Carlton by 16!
