Welcome back. Expecting another amazing piece of artwork for our new drafteesJust got back from Hawaii, haven't been on here for ages but one of my favourite times of the year is upon us.
Noticed it's now not a lock we take Walsh like it was when I left, I will add though, can you really go wrong with either Walsh or Izak?
Both elite talents, can't wait till tomorrow night. [emoji16]

To be honest i think it reinforces the risks of the 'x-factor' type player.... does Pickett’s latest set back increase the argument for Rankine?![]()
where's my ****ing step-ladder........The air is really fresh up there when you are 6'9".
Or so I've heard....
fisher was not only a first year player in 2017 but possibly the most undersized first year player ever and still showed more than polson in his second.Ball use is fine, not an issue.
Was rushed into his disposal because he hadn’t yet picked up the pace of the game.
The 12 games he got this year will do him a world of good going forward, much like Fisher in 2017 who also wasn’t ready.
I think polsons lack of penetration in kicking is a huge concern. might make it as a role player in a good side but hard to see him being more than that at this stage.
In the dungeonwhere's my ******* step-ladder........
Confirmation that Ferris has used a ladder. The air is really fresh up there when you are 6'9".

if we were 99% on walsh before that, we're 100% now
oh yeah.....In the dungeon
Or we take a future gun with pick one this yearYeah - can't see Rankine being the pick at 1.
Bare minimum, there should be enough talk about Walsh that Gold Coast offer up Pick 2 or 3 plus change. Whether that's a second rounder or two, or even the 2019 Brissy first rounder, if we actually want Rankine we need to be taking full advantage of the landscape this year and getting something else back.
I think the Brissy pick would be an ideal target.
GC just end up "upgrading" their draft hand for this year, rather than losing picks.
They probably get a top end compo pick next year because AFL reasons, so they can bundle a couple of handy kids with Picks 1 and 2.
We get Rankine and a valuable pick to use in trade negotiations for an established midfielder next year.
Go into next year's draft with 4-6 and 8-10.
No doubt, will most likely be a gun...The magic that Rankine spins is mesmerizing totally different story.
Izak will be a very good to excellant footballer.
One can take it to the bank.
And it's firing blanksAnd the Gun goes...........BANG!!
So if they want Smith does that mean hes the one that won’t go interstate? I hope someone thwarts them if they want to pull these crazy shenanigans...seems a little bit rich if that’s the case
Everyone thinks they are an expert at this time of year..Walsh will be called out number one ..i would put my house on itI did this about a week ago and I still feel like it is roughly how I feel the players should be rated. Interesting to see how it all goes down.

You'll find him hanging out at Linton St Moorabbin these days.where's my ******* step-ladder........
Thanks but I was expecting genius....You should pick Lukakuis or Rankine .Walsh will be at the Murphy, Gibbs level whilst Lukakis could be the next Riewoldt or Josh Kennedy. Rankine could be like Gary Ablett senior.Another option would be to trade pick 1 ,for pick 3 and pick 22.The draft calculator says thats about right https://www.draftguru.com.au/pick-value-calculator#3,22| .Then you are guaranteed a gun and another long term player.
