Interesting we're only going to take two rookies, leaving one spot open for a mid season draft.

Not a fan of that approach, would rather get another kid through the door now, but it seems we may have our eye on someone.

Reckon we'll see Goddard and Bugg taken with our two picks. Very happy with Goddard but would rather pass on Bugg who I don't particularly rate.

Sam Fisher re-signed with Northern the other day, so I think that means he can not be rookied or is that wrong?

He'd be able to void the contract if picked up by an AFL club.

Agree about Bugg! Would much rather have Lamb back than Bugg. Alternatively I wouldn’t mind rewarding someone like Fisher.

But Peter Sumich says he's the best player in WA this year.

Unless he's a worse than 50/ 50 to go off the rails surely worth a rookie spot.

I think the idea is you can move an injured player to the inactive list freeing up a spot.

Can someone explain to me what makes foley better than Hickmott. One wing drafted early the other missing out from the same colt side. Didn’t hickmott win the colt BnF for Subiaco and the league.

I just get the feeling that if we're giving Finbar 2 years on the list, then the 2 rookie guys are gonna be matures or maybe "a problem child" who we can delist again quickly if they don't take their chance.

Mid year draft spot given to the best performer of Blakey, Fisher and Collins perhaps.

There's an actual mid-season draft alongside the supplementary system, so we might actually go into the season 1 down on the rookie list.

It'll be interesting to see how clubs monitor state-level players through the pre-season.
