Look at West Coast last year when they traded their first to Gold Coast for Gold Coasts end of first round and few other nuggets - win the flag from nowhere making that trade a 1 pick drop down the order, and then make out like bandits with early selections in the second round.

Or us downgrading our future 2nd rounder in the Gibbs trade with Adelaide's, which would "basically be a start of 3rd rounder".

Then they finish 12th and it's just a 6 pick downgrade.
