Andrew's new regime and a refreshed , Murphy, Docherty returning, new additions of McGovern, Fasolo, Newman , Setterfiled, Walsh, Stocker may propel us above bottom 4 or 5 teams.

That can also totally backfire if Adelaide's pick is well outside the range. We than may have to either add and additional first rounder or move on a player to get the required currency.

I'd personally be happy if we traded Adelaide's future first for Hill today. I doubt WC bite but I think it's worth a try.

It could backfire but is a risk that SOS was willing to take. I think if you look at Adelaide's aging list, they'll likely struggle to put in the consistent performances required to climb much higher.

Hopefully we can finish high enough to stop them getting a top 5 pick.

If our pick ends up outside the range to get Kelly then so be it. We can only trade what we've got. If he nominates us then they're going to be backed into a bit of a corner. Getting the nomination is going to be the hard part. But even if it isn't Kelly, we'll still have decent trade currency to get an established gun player. So I don't think it's a bad move.
