I thought the Doggies still have first dibs on him in the rookie draft.

Why Goddard seriously... especially after training reports saying he's struggling with the running, really unnecessary

SOS said he has grown a fair bit in the last 12 months.

Does Hugh Goddard have the agility, fitness and foot skills to play at AFL level, St Kilda didn’t think so. Oh well.

Gonna have to get behind them and hope this pays off.

Pretty predictable that we would draft Goddard and Bugg. Shoring up depth and structure, hopefully at the Bullants but if a fair bit happens on injury front, maybe at Carlton.

Only positive i can think of with Bugg is that if we are rating a forwardline tackler then that means i have finally seen the last of Levi.

Was a pretty good player until that suspension, fits the profile, we picked him, so welcome aboard.

At least Goddard and Bugg are only rookies. The most spectacular stuff up of SOS’s regime was putting O’Shea onto the main list.

We have enough young talent now - so next year, we will focus primarily on FAs and trades; with minimum drafting

Disappointed we didn't reward Sam fisher tbh.

Bugg seems to be in the right mindset from what I've read and I guess Goddard provides depth to our backline. Still, if a talent like Stack is available, you take it and back your system to fix the off field stuff.

Every club have taken 12 month solutions this year. Looking clear that Clubs no longer want to waste time on 18yo's beyond ones they really rate.

development games for TDK, we will have trouble finding ruck minutes for the developing TDK, Lobbe, Phillips and
even Levi. No room for another ruck, despite the imbalanced age profile.
