Ok, so apparently moving back one spot yields a future 2nd round pick. Nice work Port.

Where is this being reported?
Just feels like there are a few teams looking to trade with Port for a player (Robertson maybe) as the feeling is that there pick is gettable, Brisbane just making sure nobody can get in front of them. Great for Port though.

Nth maybe look like they could be in the position to keep building points for next years draft, maybe something like our future second and this years 43 for pick 26 and a tweak of later picks...

Robertson has got most people stumped. None more than me. I have him at 3 on my final ratings behind Rowell and Jackson.

I guess it's up to him to do a Luke Parker or Worpel who were All Australian centremen and Club captains who were snubbed at the draft.

In saying that he can still go Pick 22-25 which is a lot higher than Parker(40), Worpel(45) and Neale(56). As Mick Ablett said last night, he'll use this as motivation.

That's the way I see it.

Their second rounder may well be a pick in the 40's after academy selections.

If there's a player you rate in the top 15 or so and you think they'll go in the next selection, make the trade.

Smart move the the Lions. Picks are only worth the players you can assign them to. They'll be getting their man.
