Thanks MS3. Any hints as to who our priority target is?It is very very unlikely that we will be using our first pick in this years draft.

Spot on.Industry takes notice of developing teams. Everyone knows we're on the cusp of rising and have a really strong list with quality young men.
Even if we don't rise this year, people will expect it to happen in 2020.
Just look at the Lions. Everyone is pumping them up to make gains this year.
Wouldn't surprise me if a trade from left field occurs a la Lachie Neale.
Expect the club to keep a lid. Smoke and mirrors everywhere. No leaks. Just refer to Liam Stocker trade. No one knew we wanted him in the first round.

He's a mate of a bloke who plays in my cricket team. Apparently a ripper of a youngster, and an athletic freak. Could've played cricket to a high level as well, apparently.Personally I would like to see us go after Riley Bonar, won’t cost a huge amount in a trade or salary.
I’ll be watching him with interest this season.
Others on the watch list, Ellis and Tomlinson, both FAs and both would improve our side going forward
Regardless of how we go this year, I’m expecting big things in 2020.
If not this year then we should be in the ear of Jordan Gallucci (out of contract end of 2020), young zippy small forward/mid with really nice skills and goal sense.
For this year our prime targets to fill that void should be the St. Kilda pair, they look to be on the verge of an awful season, good time to pounce.
I don't really rate Gallucci as high as most people. Plays as the 6th fiddle in a strong forward set up, which will be interesting to analyze with the new rules.
He is quick, has a great leap but is average by foot
Tim Taranto is about to explodeHe's a mate of a bloke who plays in my cricket team. Apparently a ripper of a youngster, and an athletic freak. Could've played cricket to a high level as well, apparently.
I'm not sure about him coming to Carlton, if only because I think we need his type less than we need other things. Tim Taranto, for example, would be a great in, or Lachie Whitfield (or Will Brodie). Or all three. A person can dream.

I hope we get Flanders, just for the Simpson's memesKicking this one off nice and early. Some early contenders for the 1st round next year (rough order).
1 Noah Anderson
2 Brodie Kemp
3 Dylan Williams
4 Thomas Green
5 Hayden Young
6 Sam Flanders
7 Jeremy Sharp
8 Luke Jackson
9 Mitch O'Neill
10 Will Gould
11 Lachlan Potter
12 Caleb Serong
13 Matthew Rowell
14 Cooper Stephens
15 Cameron Taheny
16 Lachlan Ash
17 Emerson Jeka
18 Dylan Stephens
