All over the place like a mad woman’s shit I think the phrase is.The Lokosius dream still kicking is it? All this(2 years) for Dylan Stephens? really?
I agree that will be the sell though. It writes itself. Don't think it holds weight though. Adelaide list management are an interesting watch for sure.
I think that's how it will go.
Disappointing really, I was hoping for Robertson or Stephens.
Good thing we already had Serong and Kemp at the club!
Would prefer Serong, but happy for the club to trade back and pick up T Dow and another speculative wildcard.
Anyway just have to wait and see

It's interesting because if we like Kemp and he's there at 9, there's a fair chance he's still there to 12 and maybe even 15 given the likely interests of the clubs between.I still think we would prefer to trade down. But I think Cats and GC first picks are too far away.
Increasingly I suspect a deal with Port would suit both well. Bid on Henry at 10 (it’s 10 now). Force Freo to use points (unless they’ve traded up to 9 which I think they may). We like him anyway so not a game. Then trade down with Port.
Cats may get quite desperate if they really want McAsey so that could all be quite fun.
Can’t wait!
I reckon I would be more interested on the following if they get to 43,T Dow a better than even chance to get to 43.
Yeah I like Rowles and Philp as well but they may still be there at 57 well Rowles at least, Cahill I wouldn’t be disappointed with either assuming we don’t get Pickett earlier.I reckon I would be more interested on the following if they get to 43,
Cahill
Rowles
O'Neill
Philp
"Goddess"

T Dow a better than even chance to get to 43.

Across 12 phantoms, Paddy Dow Jnr is projected/ranked in the 28-49 range with an average selection at 35....
FYI, across 12 phantoms, those guys are ranked/projected
Cahill 37-57 (average 42)
Rowles 57-60+ (avg N/A, decent chance is available at our pick 57)
O'Neill 26-41 (avg 33)
Philp 18-50+ (avg 36)
At pick 43 I am warming to Brock Smith who is projected 30-60+ (avg 41)
Draft central: "A reliable defender who loves a niggle and is hard to beat one-on-one due to his positioning and strength overhead."
Lacks athleticism, but knows how to find the ball, beat an opponent and hates to lose. Can play on bigs, smalls. I think he could drift as recruiters are like thylacine60 and always ask if the player can run through the middle. Showed the ability to get 20+ touches at NAB league level, but I like the look of him down back as currently we don't really have any defenders < 195cm that actually defend bar Plowman.
Yeah I had a look at Brock yesterday would be the ideal lock down small defender for us, according to the report I read he hardly ever loses one on one contests which is exactly what we need, also at 188cm he is still a good size to compete in the air against the more upwardly mobile smalls.Across 12 phantoms, Paddy Dow Jnr is projected/ranked in the 28-49 range with an average selection at 35....

I reckon there's a chance to trade down from pick 9 to pick 10 with Fremantle, but if McAsey is off the board, Hawthorn could swoop on Kemp with pick 11.
If he's there at our selection, there probably isn't much wriggle room to trade down the order if we want to draft him.
Probably related to thisHawthorn and North Melbourne have agreed to a pick swap ahead of next week's NAB AFL Draft

I really can't see the upside for North unless someone is willing to swap a first round pick for their 3 mid second rounders. Te odds that the future second rounder that North gave up is higher than 30 is incredibly remote IMO.Damn that would have been a good deal for us to do pick 30 would be handy.

Pre-draft?Geelong coming for pick 9 according to Port.
Goodbye Kemp![]()
