Medium defenders and forwards are just extended midfielders these days anyway.

I like reading opinions of those that have watched junior footy, but compare it to someone like [PLAYERCARD]Paddy Dow[/PLAYERCARD].

Everyone on this forum has seen and knows more about him than any junior draft watcher will know about the most highly rated prospect. We actually have years of exposed form to go off.

Then consider how diverse opinions are of him, how much you can completely disagree with other people's perceptions of his strengths/weaknesses/potential, and how confident you are in your own assessment in comparison.

That's why as much as I like to read reviews on junior prospects, I don't care so much for 'favourites' and rankings. Of course naturally you take more note of those who you believe has a knack for it - Arr0w for instance was big on Rozee and Smith well before they were considered top 10 picks, so personally I enjoy reading his thoughts.

Yeah its interesting to see how much people watch u16s or u18s footy - i dont watch any so wouldnt have a clue. It would be interesting to see how many just watch highlights, read the guff from the 'experts' or just watch the championships on tv (and never see how hard each player works outside of the TV box)

In the end you trust your recruiting team to get it done. I have faith in them but not our player development team

I thought he was delisted and then redrafted in the rookie draft.
the playing list on our website hasn’t been updated since Xmas last year.

He's a medium defender who plays tall, which is a nice point of difference compared to our bevy of medium defenders who play small.

Henry not picked up at all. Hindsight says we were right in passing on him. Clubs probably weren’t confident after that year with no football.

Was done automatically a couple of weeks ago. They changed the rules for this year.

Would normally have had to go the delist + re-rookie path, but the AFL made special allowance for clubs to just move two players to the rookie list without going through all the kerfuffle.

We have one more spot to fill. Could be McDonald or Marsh. Haven’t seen much of Parks but he’s a seemingly strong kid who plays taller than his height would suggest.

The club really need to update the playing list on the website.
so how many vacant spots do we have on our playing list now?

Looks a good mark and foot skills Just an area we have an oversupply of players.

Hope that means we push willow up to the wing and SPS forward/mid now.
