  • This was a quick job, will add a bunch of improvements in time

Very interesting when it's all laid out like this. Thanks for putting this together Ferris!

I think it's a bit hard to tell with this data atm because, like you said, most of them are how individual writers rank each player, rather than where each player will go. Would love to see this again when we have a few more actual phantoms out there!

Save yourself the effort Ferris, you can update this after draft night

I'd rather go into next season with one less on the list.

Ongoing concerns over his body as well as his application does not exactly make for a very attractive proposition, regardless of the talent he may have.

How many kids - who are willing to work themselves to the bone - should be denied a shot at an AFL career for Harley Bennell?

Great work Ferris

Will be interesting to see how these rankings change closer to the draft (including mail on who each club is likely to pick).
Looks like on rankings we pick O'Driscoll at #7 (if we have it), and that Macrae is not rated highly (but good value at #17 or #13 if academies removed).

Like the look of Laurie. Decision making and skills look good. Looks like a good footballer and could make a small forward. Has good agility but would also be interesting to know his speed and endurance.

Expected to go in the second round. Would look at him closely with our second rounder.

I prefer Ford to Laurie, but for someone who get the ball and wins it clear an awful lot in that clip, he spends an incredible amount of time running the wrong way. Could be coaching, but it could also indicate a lack of game awareness.

In any case, he looks like Max Rooke with a bit more toe; loves a tackle, can take a mark and kick a goal.
