I used to love the draft.

I fear this is the year all of the AFL's arbitrary makey-uppy nonsense in regard to draft and trading rules has come home to roost. It's really quite farcical - not just tonight, but in all aspects of player movement.

It's hard to pinpoint that precise moment when the shark was jumped, but it surely happened at some point this evening.

I gave up trying to understand points and future pick trading and the whole thing a long time ago. Nowadays, I just hang around to see whether Jimmae says it is a good trade or not, and just take his word for it.
