Guessing Carlton thought Adeliade were targeting a small forward with §38 so we pulled the trigger on Durdin with §37, knowing that those between our 2 picks wouldn't be looking for mids (Crows, Essendon and Richmond) meaning Carrol would slid to our second pick ..........

Reads a bit like Williamson. Very athletic, one of youngest in draft, left-footer, good skills and decision-making. Good.

Would have been happier with Winder.
We even rated Durdin above Carroll.

Not surprised Ford is nowhere to date. Something NQR about him.

Wonder if the Durdin pick was because Adelaide may have taken him over Rowe if given the chance. Assuming Carroll wasn't considered a likely selection between our two picks, that would explain why we took the lower ranked player first.

Charlie/Harry all over again, perhaps.
