I don't mind 5 minutes for the first round, but I agree with 2 minutes for each pick from the 2nd round onwards.
That was ridiculous last night.

Yep, only if you get a call for a live trade can you ask for an extension to 5 minutes.

Makes too much sense so probably will not happen[emoji849]

Versatility is the key here

Durdin and Fisher were mids that can play small forward

Williams a mid, that can play in any arc

Greene a mid that can play small forward

Bolton a mid that can play small forward

The list is long
I think it's really up to Durdin how he wishes to identify in the MTCPSFSD community...

Crows, Dogs & Blues most interested.

Didnt have a party or any gathering - wanted to be alone and digest the night himself. Going into the night thought he'd likely end up at Carlton. At our pick, he left the room....when he came back out we hadnt picked him. Adelaide were on the clock and selected him - the house errupted. Rowe breaks down describing about how Nicks came to the house with a cap and polo. Obviously pretty wrapped - particularly for a mature age pickup.

If Charlie is likely to be out until mid year, surely he can be on LTI list for half the season. Give us that KPD/Utility coverage through SSP, now we have a stand alone reserves team, player could revert to that list after Charlie returns or more likely stay with another potential LTI (sorry, just being practical).

This would allow a pick today, one kept for mid year and a key back up. (Not sure how would affect Charlie's mindset with a hard limit to his return date)
Absolutely agree.

I pick today

Have a few likely types down to training for an SSP spot in March as LTI cover.

1 pick in the mid season draft for best available talent

Henry Walsh 🤞
Can’t go into the season with only 2 genuine rucks
You take Maher if hes still on the board (he shouldnt be), maybe we look at Will Papley? Walsh to come in for training in the offseason to prove he wants it before we officially give him the spot?

Most juniors aren’t small forward specialist. They transition to that role in their later years. Most grow up as midfielders because they are the elite players in their respective team.

you aren’t gonna find your best player playing small forward in the juniors, he’s gonna be around the ball

When you think back to every kid who was an out and out gun at junior level who then wasnt drafted, it gives some perspective.

Pretty much. Some traits translate better in one area of the ground, than another.
.....and then there's the lack of other traits that may limit you to where you can play.

People are different. :)

Hately to Adelaide...surprise, surprise.
Damn...we could have taken on O'Shea here.

I'd be shocked if we take Walsh. Do not need,

Agree with that. I don't buy into the keep brother happy nepotism at all logic, quite frankly
