Keep the pile well hidden, I believe recieving stolen goods is illegal.

How have you gone since your club was caught - that's a fair pile of woodenware your building up.
Its funny to see Carlton fans actually believing there premierships still mean something. They not only collected the trophies in a inferior competition but they collected them by cheating to victory. Its kind of sad and a disgrace the AFL didnt strip them of all there past trophies. A team shouldnt keep something they dont deserve

Yep, we cheated for every single one, even when their wasn't a salary cap. Makes alooooooooooooooot of sense.
And a team shouldn't keep something that they don't deserve, so according to you the AFL should take away the Eagles franchise as well?

We beat WCE pretty easily for the pre-season premiership cup a couple of years back, so the answer to that would be: We've won as much silverware since then as the WCE have.

More on the way too!
We've won a McClelland Trophy and a Premiership. I must have missed Carlton's other peice of silverware. ;)

Everyone looks at Carlton forward line and think of it as there "strong point" (dont ask me how theres a strong point in that team). I think those people need to take a closer look at it. Quite simply the players that surround Fevola are not up to AFL standard or quality. Lets take a unbiased look at them

Brad Fisher - Injury prone footballer with kicking skills that rival Mark McGough. Cant take a contested mark and relies on cheap kicks on a wing to make a name for himself. Not good enough.

Jarrad Waite - One of the most untalented CHF in the game. Cant take a contested mark to save himself and is too lightweight to play deep. A glorified half back flanker. Not good enough

Anthony Koutafides - The man who spent the entire pre season dancing around in a suit  . Was a good player ten years ago but now he is a shell of what he once was. Uninterested player with no passion. Should of retired

Eddie Betts - Unfit slow and untalented. Cant mark cant kick and has carried his career based on 3 fluke goals. Not good enough

Josh Kennedy - Injury prone KPP who has had 2 shoulder reconstructions. I can tell you he is just another version of Kepler Bradley, If he makes it ill enter the next draft. Not good enough

Its funny to see how one man all of a sudden has made the players around him look half decent. The thing is what happens when this one man leaves. What happens when this one man loses form and doesnt care anymore. A post Fev Carlton ( I imagine he will retire in 2 years to travel with Bingle) or a injury to him and the club will fold and be gone forever. I hope they have million dollar insurance because the lack of talent next too him will cause concern for Carlton for many years to come
What a complete load. You have zero football knowledge.

lets be honest, carltons midfield is developing and young. Im a massive carlton man, but west coast's midfield is the best in the game. We have a very young and star potential forward line, however, they have not made it yet, except for fevola. Kennedy and waite i believe can become great players, maybe not stars, but very very good and solid damaging players, whilst fisher is also a very good third option tall. however, until we get a midfield that is capable of the skill and so forth of west coast, the forward line won't produce. You can have the best forward line in the world, but unless it has good delivery it won't produce. So to you west coast fans, respect the carlton forward line, but understand the trouble it has with a young midfield with lots of potential but which is also yet to produce. You west coast fans are lucky, you take your midfield for granted. Sorry but the carlton forward line dominates the west coast forward line. but the west coast midfield dominates carltons midfield. West coasts midfield teamed with a fit and firing fev, waite, kennedy, whitnall and fisher would be the best combo in the league. West coast fans are very lucky and take their midfield for granted because it makes their forward line look a lot better than it is.

Not one member of your premiership forwardline would have cracked a game for Carlton if they were on our list in 1987, 1995, 1999 or 2000. I doubt you would find a poorer forward six if you looked through every flag side in history.

Aside from 1992 and 1994. ;)
Is last years Eagles forward line the worst to win a premiership in a long long time?

Great depth there. A ruckmen at CHF  . Proves my point really. The club thinks very little of Waite by not giving him any responsibility.
According to Big Cox, Lynch played as a backup ruckman. Doesn't Lynch also play at CHF?

Played as a backup ruckmen in 5 games this season which effected his performances up forward. If he didnt he would of ended up with more like 75-80. Reason he averages 1.6 goals is because he spent 30 or so games as a CHB to begin with
You WCE fans can't seem to agree on anything:rolleyes:

The 30 or so games at CHB were mainly due to season 2004 where he played the entire year in that position. Hence the inference regarding his career average

He played as a back up ruckman at times in 2006 supporting Seaby in the period when Cox was injured and Gardner being ,well Gardner.

As for the thread

Stats tend to back up FU's rantings.

Even though Fevola was the leading goal scorer in 2006. Carlton along with the Brisbane and the Kangaroos had the worst conversion rate once the ball was inside 50 m.

We were getting bagged by F-U because we played Deluca as a CHF and back-up ruckman. I merely pointed out that Big Lynch plays like that too, (well according to Big Cox anyway)

Interesting to hear of Jarrad Waites move to CHB. Pagan has thrown in the towel it seems on somehow turning this guy into a forward. Smart move. Not the only move to be made in that forward line yet I feel. Fisher will be moved to the Bullants and im sure Eddie Betts will be found at a Centrelink near you very shortly. Cracks in the forward line are showing. If/when (most likely when) Fevola leaves Carlton will be left with the worst forward line in the AFL. Hawks fans will be relieved
