I think it helped Caro that she is not shy at going hard at anyone. She got good info from baker/mckenzie, saw the bleeding obvious and went hard at Hird for last 6 months unlike others who just don't have the guts (read Garry Lyon, Andy ****** Maher etc)

Caro was also used by the AFL to run a massive PR campaign against Essendon.

The only thing Hird hasn't done that MacArthur did, was to order and oversee the murder of protesters. Not too late for this though.

Didn't want to start a new thread so i'll put this in here, what happens if Hird is caught flouting his ban, fair chance of that i'd say, as he was at training on monday night wearing jeans, btw which did look odd, yet when the punishment was handed down it was backdated past that date, might've even included Saturday nights game, it's not a stretch to suggest he will re-offend, but what will happen, does Vlad have the stones to punish him further?

If Hird continues to maintain that he has done nothing wrong, what is there to prevent him from instituting a similar program at a later date? It certainly wouldn't be a sense of what is ethical, nor it seems, would a concern for the welfare of his players.

Getting the vibe tonight from Thompson he personally is distancing himself from Hird and might be coaching them next season.

Wow. That's some vibe. I don't think you could have got it more wrong but you're allowed your opinion.

I thought Bomber was very strong and emphatic. Haven't seen him fire up like that really since "all of you!" Put in a very convincing defends of his and their innocence I thought.
