" MELBOURNE will be scheduled two "home" matches in Queensland next season, with the addition of a Carrara match to its fixture. " herald sun today

that leaves us with 9 real home games for next year which will make things tougher than they need to be. The game will be against adelaide over easter, I understand that the MCG is unavailable for this period and a few VIC teams will be making similar arrangements for next year giving interstate teams another leg up. But the fact that we arleady have a regular queensland game that we lose every year makes this a bad decision.

hawthorn is also playing a match at Carrara next year giving the brisbane lions 13 games in queensland (4 more home games than us).

What a sell out. Did they bother to ask the members what they wanted. Did they even bother to think what the members want? Do we have very few members because the club couldn't care less about what we want? This year, our away home game couldn't have come at a worse time. We should be thinking about getting as much advantages in the season rather than selling home games for cash.

The MFC must really be desperate... or stipid or both.

That's life guys. It's only for a season, but other clubs, and there are plenty, use TD as their home ground so we had to seek home games elsewhere.

Carrara is nobodies home ground anyway, so it's not as big of a problem as it seems.
