For Carrots to survive he must become a tagger (type). He is extracting every last inch out of himself and his size. Thats why I guess he has a lot of support here - he works hard and does everything right.
However, he is not going to bust open games for us and he tends not to be overly damaging. And thats ok. Its about knowing you place in life. We have Murphy, Judd and Stevens (with Gibbs heading in the right direction) who will be the games breakers and will regularly cause headaches for the opposition. So Carrots needs to understand his role, and what will help get us to playing finals, is to be a negating player who can use his skill, small size and agility to get the ball going back our way. And what a handy player to throw into the mix when doing rotations!
I guess I am trying to see where we will be by 2009-2010. By this time you would expect our best 4-5 mids would be Murph, Gibbs, Stevo, Juddy and Simpson. So thats why I think Carrots needs to be focussed on playing others roles within the team. If he does this, and does it well, it'll help us to be playing finals as early as 2009
