I dont deal with hypotheticals and I don't have my crystal ball on me, BUT, if we make the big dance we should bring back the tradition of carrying the anchor into the stadium. We could even heave ho our way across the nullabor during grand final week, eventually hitting the stadium and lifting the anchor for some real pre game entertainment.

I know it wrecks of our pathetic pre-ross and steves era, but it would be a great spectacle.

Absolutely not. We have been mocked for so long for this, and truth be known, it is lame. We finally have the respect and fear of the competition and things like this will undermine this.

Heritage round, along with the original jerseys.... maybe... If it's brought out during the GF, I'm doing the beer run.

No way. Absolutely not.

This shit was so embarrassing. It made my skin-crawl. You'd have to get the shortbus to games to think that was anything but awful.

Why not Damian Drum, Neesham and the foundation crabs to parade around the stadium too if you want heritage.:D

The anchor was extremely cringeworthy and I'm glad it got the heave on, I am open to reinstating the drums and the old song though.

Yeah, lets battle and claw our way into the big dance... And then revert back to old traditions and cultures on the Monday of grand final week.

Maybe not on GF day but I'd love them to unfurl the flag in rd1 and also have the anchor crew and instead of lifting the anchor they get a couple of legends pulling the ropes and Peter Bell & McManus to lift the cup.

Won't happen but nice to dream.
