Like i said, the AFL from here on out will actually work in our favour. They are a rotten scheming organisation. They dont want players banned, there will be measures taken so that they are protected. The flaws in the system may benefit us this time.

This is why i quoted Yaco, in an ideal world where the system worked? Sure our players would probably be banned by the AFL. As we have seen though this system is so broken that i think there is a strong case for nothing coming of this at all. AFL X Broom =Rug.
We all assume this, but I do not trust them. Remember the AFL have a trend to exaggerate things, why won't they believe other exagerations from ASADA and nail us.....again?

I'm pretty sure ASADA is also getting their legal strategy from the law tv show - Suits.

On the show it went along the lines of rather than provide the single incriminating document/page - they gave the investigators their entire stack of documents - a room full of crates, boxes of documents.

The good old 'needle in the haystack' technique.
Yeah, well, ASADA's about to get Litt up.

Yep. It's actually at the point where I'm basically numb to any outcome.
ASADA have slot to answer for here.
Already critisised once by WADA, surely it will occur again. ASADA have been nothing short of disgusting in their behaviour to date, and it won't change unless a serious shake up occurs in the wake of this utter cluster **** that has been created.

Never watched the show.. but it is a 'real' technique.. and used often.

"paints a better picture" though, don't you think???

Add in completely legal actions, text messages, documents and supplements.. but then you can claim 350 pages of 'evidence' of use of TB4.

I would have thought it would have been far scarier to see a document with three pages that nails your ass to the floor:
Page 1: This is Dank requesting TB4 for use by EFC players. This is Charters ordering TB4 for 'Essendon'. This is the custom records of TB4 being delivered to Australia.
Page 2: This is evidence of Alavi prepared TB4 for Essendon. This is evidence of TB4 being used at Essendon. This is evidence of Dank talking about his use of TB4 at Essendon.
Page 3: This is your injection record showing you were given 10mL of TB4 on XX May 2012.

Case Closed.
That is when you shit your pants... not when it take 350 pages to try and explain to you how you might have got a 5mL injection of TB4 that may have been sourced in China that may or may not have been destroyed...
Can the players use legitimate Dank records to refute claims by ASADA? That might be interesting.

350 isn't that big guys, consider the average decent crime brief is about 1000 pages. The statement of facts will probably be about 40 pages. The transcripts from interviews and telephone intercepts make up the bulk of the brief.

I have worked in criminal law the last 14 years.

I would totally leave it in the hands of the players. Have an open meeting including all players.. they all raise their hands yay or nay.. and whatever the group decides.. goes.
Personally I'd have them do it like a Tribal Council on Survivor.
