THE FIX IN IN!!!!! TIN FOIL HAT TIME, CONSPIRACY THEORY TIME.

For those that frequent the HTB, have a great time trolling with info.
The HTB is a single issue Internet forum that just happens to be mainly populated by footy fans, but not exclusively. Like any of these types of forums it is full of heavily invested individuals with entrenched views. They showed little interest in the positive tests at Collingwood, IMO they would show far more interest in what Hird eats for breakfast (sadly this is not a joke). These days it's mainly a group think echo chamber.

Just not worth the effort unless you like trolling, and to be fair given what efc supporters have gone through some strategic trolling is not a hanging offence.

If ASADA lose the Dank case, despite Dank not contesting it, then there are only 2 possibilities for mine:
1. the fix is in; or
2. ASADA are even more incompetent / mindlessly bloodthirsty than previously thought - they prosecuted someone with a case so weak it can't even win when unopposed
Can you imagine the ****ing uproar if Dank is found not guilty??

It would make March 31 look like a tea party!

Disagree. Dank is not really seen as Essendon anymore. The players, obviously, are.

The players' fate was the main game for most people.

Got to agree with Doss here. Most of the HTB foamers had a vested interest in seeing our club burn. If Dank burns it will be of little consolation to them.

They'll find Dank guilty of having other banned substances at Essendon (Hex and another wasn't it?) - (won't be surprised if they completely ignore his involvement with other AFL clubs).

A not guilty verdict would be disastrous for the AFL - would open them to significant litigation, though either way, Dank is going to sue. He is posturing himself for a fat, fat payout from the AFL bigwigs. All you have to do is subpoena the people that matter - Lukin, Clothier, Harcourt.

I wish we called the AFL's bluff in 2013 and actually taken them to the Supreme Court just as Hird wanted to and Dr Reid threatened to do.

Is it even against the (2012) rules for him to have stuff that's not WADA-approved for players at EFC, as long as it's not given to players ?

I remember when Doc Reid threatened to take the AFL to court and saying to my Mrs this will never get that far. There were too many - in particular Demetriou - who would have rather died than be put in a witness box.

What was the washup with Bock? I remember he was said to be under investigation by ASADA years ago, but how far did that go?
Bock believed that he was given CJC-1295 in December 2010

CJC was "banned" by WADA dating back to 2004, but only banned in 2011.

So perhaps he got off on a technicality?

The only reason the foamers would care about the Dank verdict is that a guilty verdict might give them the chance to say "but, but, but, but Dank was at Essendon, therefore drugz !!!".
The Dank finding will be seen as a win/win for the foamers :

1/ Guilty, and it will be a case of why aren't the players guilty as well then?

2/ Not guilty, and they will be crying AFL fix and claiming Essendon and the AFL came to an arrangement.

Seriously most people don't care about Dank. It's pretty funny really people just laugh at him. The real hatred is for James "good work mate" Hird, the architect of the program.

These are the same people who felt pity for Weapon after his interview, who cheered for him in his battle v Hird and maintained sympathy for the players being duped and doped by Hird, not Dean Robinson the head of fitness at Essendon and old mate Dank's boss, James "Sounds good Deano" Hird, the supplement program's number one champion, founder and designer.

Doss is right, the tears will be nothing compared to the players being found not guilty - because it all comes down to the real villain in this, James "what's a peptype" Hird.

Most thought Dank was a laydown misere to just cop the biggest whack the tribunal cared to hand down - particularly with him not appearing to contest his charges - but now I'm really starting to wonder whether the tribunal is going to be able to pin much, if anything on him?

The evidence was always supposed to be hazy all round.

It is very strange that the Tribunal is reserving judgment so long on this issue. There are three of four conspiracies all of which make more sense than the idea that Jones is still writing the judgment.

AFL spokesman Patrick Keane told Fairfax on Wednesday night that the league had received no indication from the anti-doping tribunal as to when it would announce its finding, and reasoning, about Dank.

"The AFL has not been advised at this time of any publication date by the anti-doping tribunal of its decision regarding the Essendon support person," Keane said.

"The anti-doping tribunal will take as much time as it needs."
Looks like the power has shifted and McDoesn't have a case isn't too happy. Previously while the sporting world waited on his every move he was parading about the places ensuring all and sundry knew who was in charge and that he'd be doing things his way in his own time. The AFL and EFC were pushing for a speedier process, but no one dictates terms to Benny. Just ask him.

Now time is of the essence, his job situation is terminal, ASADA credibility is shot to pieces and he expects those he shafted to throw him a bone?
