Can you explain for the masses on here one last time how Dank can be guilty and the players not?

It seems to be confusing a few people.
Sure.

He's up on a raft of charges, all of which are conceptually different to the players charges, even if they are linked in the real world.

The players were charged with Use. People wonder how the VFL footballer can go down and not the EFC players. He was charged with Attempted Use. That means intent is highly relevant, whereas the efc players can't be done for someone else's intent.

Dank can be done for intent however. Just as he can be done with trafficking. None of this impacts the players at all, which is why ASADA are being more than a bit cute pretending Dank findings matter regarding appealing the players.

Even though the tribunal can't be sure it was tb4 they've already said they were comfortable Dank thought it was. As a cynic I'm with Chip on this one. He'll get done for intent, and trafficking hexeralin.

No impact on players.

AN AVALANCHE of Essendon supporters have signed on since the AFL anti-doping tribunal verdict, helping propel the club towards a record membership.

The surge has accelerated since the club’s shock win over Hawthorn, fuelling players’ confidence they can mount a genuine challenge for this year’s premiership.

The club signed up about 60-80 members a day throughout the preseason but that number has tripled to 250-300 per day since the tribunal found the players not guilty of doping charges last month.

Article says 55000 members signed. Either Campbell is embellishing a bit or the club website is behind in updating up the figures

Who would know? I don't keep my own figures. Can only go on what the club tell us. Hopefully there aren't too many dogs, cats and canaries in our membership count.

It wasn't targeted at you, it was just an observation. I for one hope Campbell is on the money, but time will tell on that.

No offence was taken. I think all clubs are guilty at some stage or other of applying mayo to the membership numbers they announce. Just hope that isn't the case this time around with us.

It does sense that some/many might have delayed signing up pending the tribunal outcome.

My 16 y.o. daughter has reached 8192. But she's a bit of a whizz tbh.
There's a trick/strategy to it. You basically always sweep left to right every move and then push them up into the top.

That basically keeps the high ones on the top row, middle ones on the 2nd row and the low ones down the bottom.

That way all the similar tiles appear in the same areas and you don't get a 512 next to a low tile.

I do it except in reverse, have the high on the bottom. Every now and again you get stuffed where you have 3 rows fully populated and you can only move up (or down in your case). That's where you get the high number on the wrong row and it makes life difficult.

But goldfish are okay. You can keep telling them they're a new member every five seconds and they'll light up with joy every time.
That's a myth.

Goldfish have excellent memories and I'd appreciate if you'd stop slandering them by repeating this inaccurate urban legend.

It's all the same as I'm sure you both know. It doesn't matter what direction you go in so long as you plan to have a pyramid of numbers with the highest being in the corner you're moving toward and cascading down from there. At that point it's just patience and concentration and you find 2048, 4096 and 8192 is actually fairly easy. I never got beyond 16384 as it takes a long time and I moved on to some word game.

what the hell are u 2 talking about? lol
This... http://gabrielecirulli.github.io/2048/

Very addictive until you can't get past a certain value (4096 for me), then after a while the towel gets thrown in.

I think McDesperate has probably been filling his time in playing this a fair bit since heading up SALADA, what because he's so busy in between issuing bogus SCNs, INs and doing the media roadshow.

This sums it up for me:
But to merge opinion within news stories is to create a dangerous union indeed. It can create a myth that people mistake as fact.

That is what has happened too often throughout this sorry saga. While it’s been a hell of a story, it’s hard to tell just which parts of it are true and which parts should be banished to a fiction book ‘based on a true story.’

@Crooksy_1 @vitvargen Bock has not been charged. Ben McDevitt should explain why not.

Have to wonder at the AFL's / ASADA's handling of that??

Perhaps they'll try and explain it away by claiming they were after Mr Big
