You explained why you keep saying the players are "officially guilty" when people say they don't believe they are guilty yet use "common sense" for Maria?
Except I never said she wasn't guilty.

My point was, given what was known at the time (just after it came out) most would view it as a simple mistake, hence common sense. But if they think different, then that's fine.

Nike have suspended her sponsorship - pretty much immediately.

Former grand slam champion Jennifer Capriati has lashed out at Maria Sharapova on social media, after the Russian tennis star announced that she had tested positive to a banned substance at the Australian Open this year.

In a series of angry tweets, Capriati described herself as "disappointed", and called for Sharapova to be stripped of her titles.

"I had to lose my career and never opted to cheat no matter what. I had to throw in the towel and suffer," she wrote.
According the Ings, WADA knew who were taking this substance in the last year. What's the bet that WADA knew she (and possibly others) were previously taking this substance based on those results and target-tested them in order to try and get a few big scalps.

182 positive tests were returned last year when they were searching for athletes using it.

Why on earth don't all professional athletes have a register they go to and put in the drugs they are taking. Then if any changes happen to that drug they can be informed to stop taking them before they get shit canned. Any player testing to drugs not on their list can be warned and suspended. This bullshit about players being responsible is a very outdated technique that belongs prior to the invention of personal computers

I think it was more spurred on by McDeadshit saying he had no idea why they hadn't been dealt with yet at Senate Estimates last week.
I don't think asada ever wanted any of it to go to contested hearing. The 34 forced their hand, and CAS paved the way for an anything goes enforcement policy: if they say you're a cheat then you're a cheat.

Senate ask about Bock?

Hmmmm intersting

I just find it odd that it's only now it's been banned even though she has been using it for over a decade with no problems.
its gained popularity to the point WADA looked at it further and decided it was being taken to increase performance. Probably a good idea to ban it IMO given its clearly being taken for non-medical reasons
