If an infraction notice is issued on the basis that AOD-9604 falls under section S0 of the anti-doping code, then AOD-9604 would definitely be a Specified Substance, because all S0 substances are Specified Substances.

From the AFL anti-doping code:

All Prohibited Substances shall be considered as “Specified Substances” except Substances
in classes S1, S2.1 to S2.5, S.4.4 and S6.a, and Prohibited Methods M1, M2 and M3.

Put another way, there's no immediate stand-down for AOD-9604, unless it's considered to fall under one of those classes listed above (which no-one from ASADA, WADA or the AFL has publicly suggested as yet AFAIK).
AOD may fall under S2 for the purposes of determining if it is a specified substance. Remember back to around the time Watson admitted to taking the stuff, someone discovered that AOD was 'considered' under S2, but not prohibited under S2; the upshot of all that being that at the time AOD couldn't be considered under S0 because a substance can only be 'considered' by one S(number) at a time and S2 was 'considered' first.

No, that is still his line I believe. It probably would have made headline if he'd changed his mind given the unhealthy level of interest in all this.
I'm glad. It can only be a good thing I reckon as he wouldn't testify if he knew he had done wrong and couldn't get them off.

It gives me more confidence that ASADA won't recommend any infraction notices against us when wrapping this up, that their focus will be on nailing the Cronulla players.

Mark Robinson was asked the other day if he had this time again would he have printed the names in the paper again knowing the fallout. His response argh yes I would.

What a low life. Hopefully those who have spoken out about this make a stand against speaking to the HS in the future. Yes I can dream.

In which case they couldn't be charged for taking it at all. It is either S0 or nothing.

Can't think of anything else Robbo hoped to achieve out of revealing the names other than selling more newspapers.

But he might find a new reluctance from some players to be interviewed by him or trust by him, and that's an outcome he deserves.

Sheahan backed him up too.
Except Sheahan was of the opinion that naming the players would do nothing to change people's perception of them, people wouldn't think any less of them.

Whatley shot him down on that pretty quickly, and rightly so. Sheahan must've been living in a bubble for the past 13 months to think that.

I'd say more like 13 years with some of those hilarious top 50 lists he comes up with.

Reckon he was just backing his mate up. Plenty of others passed on the op to go with that story, says a bit.
Has any reporter actually said they had the information prior and didn't go with the story? While I think we all assume that Caro has read the report, do we know for sure that it was the full report or did it have the names blacked out?

Caro's article says The Sunday Age chose not to name them, the article where they said the HS were. So, depends whether it was a bluff or not.

Yes EPL reference
Following Hillsborough and the slanderous comments made about the Liverpool fans by the Sun the Liverpool community in general stopped buying this paper. Maybe a small stand but to date 25 years later the Sun still sell very few papers within this community.
