Did anyone get to the game? Would love to hear the wrap up!

Apparently Couch had a good day.

Also, Port Melbourne lost so Casey are a game clear with one less played!!!

yeah i watched it and Gysberts dominated

Im still amazed that a lot of Demon supporters dont see the star potential in this kid

Burst on to the scene in 2010 with 3 great games in his first 3 games before getting injured.

Then last season was injured again, only played a few games which included polling the 3 Brownlow votes in a win over Essendon.

And hes had 2 more big injuries this year., but is now ready to come back and will most definitely play this week vs Gold Coast.

Id have him in the team ahead of Trengove.

Agree on Gysberts, he will be a genuine star midfielder in a few years time.

Not having a go at you (for once :p) but the bolded is probably why there isn't as much buzz around him as he deserves. He need to stay on the park for 2 years straight starting from now if he's ever going to reach his potential though.

Showed plenty in his handful of games, but doesn't mean a great deal if you can't handle opposition attention and continually improve. He does strike me as one of our better prospects. Same potential quality as Blease albeit in a much different role (liken him to Joel Corey or Montagna).

Agreed about being sick of 'potential' though. Too many are falling short/taking longer than expected.
