Scorps by 50+.

Don't think Fiora played. Allen & Armo (other emergencies) did.

The Scorp listed defenders (Taylor, Wall, Silvagni, Panozza, O'Bryan) would have been in the best.

For the Saints :
Macca - excellent as a forward in difficult conditions. Showed some of the others how to kick for goal. Sticky fingers.
Woody - presented well. Dropped a few marks though.
The Flea - some dashing runs through traffic for goals.
X - played well. Went in hard as you'd expect. Taken off in the last quarter.
Armo - very prominent. Won a bunch of frees for playing the ball and in front.
Rixy - went for a hanger at every opportunity. Took the players aside after Hutchison had a chat (GH very impressive in front of the players) and made some sort of announcement. Was cheered off the ground.Gears - OK
Leigh Fish - courageous but just OK.
Fergie - solid
Mini - struggled a bit.
Howard - didn't seem to get much of it.
Chivers - seemed OK but then would make a blue.

what do you think that was about?

I heard him ask Hutchison if he could talk to the players, but now I'm kicking myself I didn't hang around to hear what it was about. Could've been anything, but I must admit I'm sort of expecting some kind of announcement.

X seemed fine - no icing or strapping that I could see. He was fearless in the packs, and just appeared to have general soreness.

Good stuff Scorps!

Were you listening to the radio Saints? Who sounded like they got a lot of it? And who didnt play out of Jack, Armo and Birssy?

Yea, listened to most of it. Armo was probably BOG, IMO. Allen kicked a few.
Geary is gonna be a star along with Wall + Allen. (Is Wall on the rookie list?)

Jack and Armo both played. Pretty sure Birssy didn't play.

Anyone hear me (the idiot yelling in the microphone) after they had finished interviewing Armo?

Great game. Scorps didn't make the most of their opportunities after seeming to dominate possession in the second half.

All the Saints boys were pretty good. Rix, Macca and Woody all took multiple contested grabs. Howard kicked a ripper goal to almost seal it. Fergie contested up forward. Jack laid some excellent tackles. Leigh Fish was very good in the middle along with Gears who had a heap of it. Armo excellent again - some great long passes. Fizz & Chiv OK.

Yes - Birssy was the one to rest pending tomorrow's game.

Wall was a swan rookie, who was later rookied by the saints and then let go.
Tall defenders often take time - like ruckmen, so we may have been premature on his delisting. He has stuck with Casey, hmmm interesting.
