Belted them by 15 goals.

Our three-game winning streak in the VFL has come to an end. Collingwood 7.9 (51) def. by Casey 21.15 (141).
Woooot! Thanks mate.

Anything else on Demon players? I'm being bloody lazy here I know but I hate browsing unfamiliar sites on the iPhone...

According to Demonland Couch had close to 40 possessions today.

Hogans kicking was all over the place, from my mate who works with Collingwood - tricky breeze though.

Was apparently an absolute beast in the air though.

Hogan's still a baby in football years, and he's already monstering seasoned bodies in the VFL.

I shudder to think how good he's going to be at 24.. even the MFC can't stuff this one up... surely.

from KC from Casey: "Magner and Couch had plenty of the ball today with the former getting 40 touches according to one of the blokes around here. The latter's been named best for Casey today."

So Magner had around 40 but Couch was the better player.
Young Tom too might be eligible for some AFL development under the Elevate and then arseh*le Scheme

Ok, Hogan kicked 2.5 - but apparently he was using a new kicking technique, so a some inaccuracy is to be expected over the next month or so you'd think.

What was wrong with the old one?

Fev had an unorthodoX technique , he still got the job done

Hogans kicking technique was pretty popor, Fev had a classic technique - walk in straight, drop the ball low and kick straight.

Just because he held the ball funny doesn't mean his kicking technique was unorthodox :p

Do we know what his conversion rate was before he changed technique? would be interested to see how it compares over the remainder of the year.

It was okay, he did have some average games - especially last week against Sandy.

It will work well when he's in form but when he's out of form it will be a struggle ... better to fix it now I'd say.

If you wanna talk about technique fitzys is horrible .. I think it's dangerous making someone have to overthink kicking the footy

Do you trust the Melbourne coaches not to **** it up and leave him with no confidence? I don't. This is Neeld's Melbourne we're discussing, he'll probably kick 1.8 every week but Crazy Neeldy will praise his 'attempted goal efforts'.

Fitzy's is better then Hogan, at least he runs straight and kicks straight - despite looking unco.

For mine, the key stat here is 7 shots on goal (assuming he didn't miss the barn with others?)

There have been games where we have'nt managed that as a team until after half time!

Bolded the standouts for mine. Tynan, Davis, and Magner should definitely get a shot this week.
