The goal at 3:45 wasn't a big one, bit of a dash and he was well inside 50.

I was referring to his interception/hit on the Collingwood player with the 'boom'.

Casey play this week? I'd like to see one team play good football this weekend.

Lol, football.

I have no interest at all in watching anything this week. So over this game.

What's the point?

Well done Melbourne, you've officially made me fall out of love with footy.

Can't wait until the season is done.

Finals might bring me back, apart from that not much else worth watching

I'm now firmly interested in Sydney, Freo and Richmond seasons (in that order of interest).

I'll go to our games in Melbourne, probs won't watch the others though (unless on FTA)

Everyone else can G&GF.

I've just gotten past the halfway mark in my book, so something's actually beginning to happen (The Plague by Camus, not as good as The Outsider). I guess my afternoon is planned.

I hated The Outsider but didn't half mind The Plague when we studied them both for school. Good allegory for the MFC, though.

I've started reading Tolkein's drafts for what eventually became the Lord of the Rings. At this point, Bilbo's oldest son Bingo Bolger-Baggins heads off with his 3 friends Marmaduke, Odo and Frodo to find more dragon-gold and are being chased by evil dwarves dressed all in black.

Hey Logger I've never heard about the drafts, are they just collated into a single book? Available at bookstores?

It's part of a series called "The History of Middle-Earth" which contains his drafts for everything from the Silmarillion to a new version of The Hobbit he was writing just before he died, as well as a sequel to The Lord of the Rings. The ones which are related to LotR are books 6,7,8 and 9, which you can get in one massive volume.

I got mine during the death throes of Borders for about $30 but was so intimidated by its size I didn't start until about halfway through the second quarter of the North game. Online it can be found here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/0007149166

The three that I have seen do consistently well are Taggert, Magner and Barry... and Davis gets an in... kinda confuses me really...

I've never been much of a fan of fantasy so I doubt it's for me personally, but I can certainly see the interest.

Finished The Plague on Tuesday. Not much of a plot, but the prose was sensational
