You're always going to be disappointed then I reckon. He's not that kind of player at the moment and we all know it. Maybe when he's 25. I agree with the other points though - he must show effort and chase and tackle hard.

Thanks a bunch DR. I wish I'd gone, I'm paying for it now...

Not so much how it sounds. Should have clarified.

I mean like putting your knee in the back of someones head who comes back in the space, leaping from 5 deep and punching the ball if need be instead of waiting over he back for the easy ball.

I understand he hasnt go the body yet to 'crash' packs. But there are things Watts or any player can do but for one reason or another he just doesnt.

Melbourne's winter is still probably warmer than London's summer anyway ;)

Glad to hear Watts played well but we have heard it all before.

Im not expecting BOG's at AFL level just effort, tackling and some pack crashing. The rest will take care of itself, he has the skills.

Am a massive Watts fan but its is very concerning that he needs a kick up the ass every time to get into gear. Surely one should have more drive then that?

Last year, it took a green vest. This year dropped to Casey?

Travis Johnstone, Allen Jakovich. We know how to pick 'em.

Fair shake of the sauce bottle.

I wouldn't call playing VFL in an AFL-less week a 'kick up the ass'.

I'd hope if he needs a kick it would be much more significant than that!!
