I did enjoy our look at the Rebel base on Yavin. A big emphasis on recruits joining up and some semblance of true organisation starting to appear. They've just about outgrown Luthen - they've become something bigger now.

And then we have the Force healer - who I think pretty much confirmed that Cassian was being helped along his path by the Cosmic force.

Lutthen is a goner I reckon - but for some unknown reason I really want Lonny to make it out.

I wonder if that's the last we see of him and he's just "deep under cover" on coruscant. Leaves it open for more stories and maybe Skarsgard is open to returning. Just spit balling as I fully expected him to go out helping Mon escape.

He also has that Kyber necklace. Thought that might have made an appearance.

Chucked on the rebels ep where they get mothma to yavin. It blends seamlessly.

No but seriously, everyone chuck on "Secret Cargo" rebels season 3 and tell me this doesn't fit seamlessly. References the Ghorman massacre, we get Semaj helping Mothma, reference to gold squadron bringing her to Yavin, it's great.

Just realised whilst watching ep 9 Andor is great at the best characters in my opinion are the women. Mon, Kleya (really enjoyed her esp eps 4-6) and Rogue One, Jyn Erso. The Gilroy's let the intelligent writing prove them and allow these characters to shine.

What's left to happen in the last batch? It feels just about ready to roll into R1. I guess Dedra can pop off and I guess Luthen but otherwise it seems just about set?

I bloody love Kleya. She's so hard core. When Cassian says he's leaving and she basically goes 'tch - too bad so sad diddums' at him - just about had me on the floor.

She is much more gentle later which I thought was a good book end to their discussions.

A little breath play between Syril and Dedra? Nothing would surprise me about those two.

I think Syril's arc played out well. He had the opportunity to kill Cassian but hesitated due to the knoweldge that he had been duped into facilitating the slaughter of the Ghormans.

I'm not quite buying Dedra's reaction. She was portrayed to be a true psychopath, such as torturing Bix and planning the destruction of Ghorman. Why is she all quivery now?

I thought he hesitated because in that moment he realised he'd invested all this energy and effort into finding Cassian and Cassian didn't even know who he was. That he mattered that little.

Dedra never wanted to be involved on Ghorman. Rewatch when she gets given the assignment. She's also "quivery" because Syril got killed.

I do hope in the next arc Captain Kaido runs into Cassian and his crew. What a piece of work & the perfect man for the job.
Got his green troops sent in for the slaughter. Did not hesitate for a single moment to do what needed to be done.

It would not surprise one minute if when next we see Sgt Bloy he's part of the rebellion.

I think it reflects her character - she’s a desktop general who struggles deal with the practical consequences of the decisions she makes and orders she gives.

Both times we’ve seen her in the field (Ferrix and now Ghorman) she’s gone to pieces and lost control. Even torturing Bix was her giving instructions to Dr Ghorst.

Makes her that much more evil tbh - she’s like the social climbers and drones who helped enable the Nazis.

:100:

Really enjoyed those 3 - for those who wanted action you got it

For those who want the underground stuff it was there

After Bix spent 3 episodes being domestic I wasnt surprised to see her go - she is as much a fighter as Cassian is

Cant wait

One effect that "Andor" may cause is that it could alter how "Rogue One" is viewed; rendering Jyn Erso as a side character and making Cassian the main protagonist :(

Soon as last three episodes end I'll be watching Rogue One straight after to see if that effect is true or not ao true.

He's a co lead in R1 just as he's always been.

Do you think the prequel trilogy rendered Luke Skywalker as a side character?

Watched Rogue One last week. Still mediocre.
