There's a rumour that Domenic Cassisi is out of contract this year and has told port that he wants to put negotiations on hold until seasons end. He's a WA boy and was a good mate of Josh Carrs at port. Would be a handy addition and would bring some much needed pace to our midfield.

Can you source your own players, or do you have to poach them all from us?
If players hate your city you cant blame them for wanting to come home or for clubs from their home town taking them...

It has nothing to do with not liking the city. Carr and schoey left for family reasons, not because they disliked Adelaide.

So how is that poaching then? They wanted to return home - it was either us or the Weagles.

You are already talking about getting Dom when he is negotiating with the club already.
If he decides not to stay with the club, then talk. But I wouldn't hold your breath, sounds like a deal will be announced soon.

Schammer signed up for 3 years last year...so he's going nowhere. I'd let the Toasters get Cassisi, we don't need him....he'd struggle to get into our 22 in the midfield.

Struggle to get into your 22?
And what's with let west coast get him? Chances are he isn't going anywhere!

I'll let you in on a little secret.... this is the internet where people write stuff which then appears on a message board. We are just average joes - we are not the clubs, nor the powers that be at the clubs... It matters little what we "say"... our inane posting on the internerd will have little bearing on what actually takes place.... But keep it under your hat, as we wouldn't want everyone to know how it really works...

I see Port supporters (on their board) are claiming that Josh Carr's partner is homesick and wants to return to Adelaide. Can u see a place for her in Power's team?

They're clutching at straws.

I'm getting bored with the claims that Port will want Schammer as trade leverage. Anyone remember his comment when asked about being traded back to Adelaide: "I hope not". He appears to enjoy livining in Perth and has family here.

More specifically he's a Freo boy. I think Dom would be a handy aqcuisition, but I wouldn't want to give away a whole lot to get him.
Correction IP, he's a East Freo Boy as was Josh !!

Not sure why dorkers think we want schammer. Hasn't really done much for freo really. he is tiny and hasn't set the world on fire. We've got heaps of his type of player in adelaide & on our list. I think you want to offload him (realising you paid too much at last renegotiation). For such a high pick has not established himself in the team...indeed freo have acknowledgedthis by recuiting carr & black

If he wants to come home we are obligated to have him.

As soon as he sends out an sos we should despatch a rescue party into the enemy stronghold.

If we dont. He might turn to The Darkside. My concience could not live with that thought.

Freo is a graveyard for talents who've played at the highest level elsewhere. Cassissi would only have to look at the fate of Premiership players like Carr, Schofield, Bell, Headland (any others?).
Mediocrity and early holidays every year. If Cassissi does return to WA playing with the Dockers won't be a lure.
