Apologies if it has already been done but i just thought i'd ask cats fans if they thought the QF was our best performance of the year.
i would have to say it was. Smashed them into the clearances largely due to the Ottens/Blake ruck combo. Jimmy Bartel, Joel Selwood, Max Rooke were hard and couragious around the packs. Forwards were exceptional, so many options Chappy, Nate and Moon obviously the best. Defense even better. No signs of missing Egan with the likes of Scarlett, Milburn, Harley and others like Hunt, Enright, Corey all getting back when needed.
Wojcinski and Kelly played their best games of the year Wojcinski continues to be daring and exciting with his run and a bloke by the name of G.Ablett wasn't half bad either. They linked up superbly and i thought the passage that ended up in a steve johnson goal during the third term was the play of the day.
Other games that may have come into contention i thoughts were:
R16 v Western Bulldogs, overwhelmed by that start. exceptional.
R6 v Richmond, obvious reasons, 35.12 - 9.11.
R11 v Adelaide, 4 quarter effort against a good side infront of a hostile crowd.
R9 v Port Adelaide. Power fans seemed to have forgotten what a full strength Geelong team can do to them.
