Born in central Victoria.
Live in Wagga Wagga and work? as a production supervisor.
Not sure how I ended up barracking for Geelong; my Mum and Dad were both Carlton supporters ( make that fanatics) and I was lucky enough to see some of the great Carlton players like Jezza, Sylvani (senior) and Nichols who was some sort of distant relation.
Anyway much to my parents dismay I barracked for Geelong but to make matters worse the girls finished up supporting Collingwood (maybe thats what sent dad to an early grave).
One of my brothers ended up supporting the doggies (no accounting for taste).
Sometimes I despair for a family with only one person smart enough to barrack for Geelong.
Any way I have righted the ship somewhat as all my kids (and so far my gramdkids) have turned out Geelong supporters.
Now all I need is that elusive flag!
Ah well I'm old enough to remember 63

Born and breed in Geelong , and have a little shack a nice stroll from the Cat Cage in Newtown. A Blue collar/White collar worker for the Blue Oval hence the tag. Age? Old enough to feel decidedly old looking at some of the ages posted. Put it this way older than anything mentioned so far and old enough to be at times a very scarred and bitter Cat supporter but also old enough to have seen so many bench mark, legendary sights and so many great players. So why have I stayed a Cat supporter?. One may as well ask why somone has size 8 shoes or olive skin. It has been in bedded in my very psyche , like it or not , they is me and I is them and my hapiness is so often tied to their performance.
Oh God please let the Cats win a flag before I die…..

G'day Hodgy, I'm from East Geelong too (near the Apco - wouldn't want to give the street on an Internet forum).

31yo, work at the uni in Geelong (take a guess), Cats supporter since I moved down in 2000 - didn't really follow the footy before then. Have lived through Shell Stadium/Baytec Stadium/Skilled Stadium in 5 years! Went to Buddha's last game, other memorable games include 1 pointer over Port Adelaide, 122 point thrashing of Saints (Mensch or Lord kicked 7?) and seven point win over Saints in 2004.

I'm also a keen golfer - hey Hulkster!

Possibly longest registered bigfooty poster on this board, but not the most prolific or insightful.

Grew up in Ocean Grove and I've been living in inner city Melbourne for the last 15 years.

32 and run a web development business.

Im 18, live in Melbourne (Williamstown) and go to RMIT.
Im the black sheep of my family, the only Geelong supporter, the rest are mad Bulldogs fans, so im looking forward to playing them this year to regain bragging rights once again.

I'm 23, was born in Hobart but have lived in Launceston for the last 5 years.
I've been going for the Cats since '89, and I work as a tree faller

I was born into a sea of blue and white 13 days after the Cats last GF win in 1963 at Baxter House in Geelong. My Dad bought me a kids Cats beach towel that year (which I still have). I grew up in Qld and moved back to Melb in 96.

I was originally a Management Consultant but now own a motorsport fabrication business in Melb's outer east. Apart from football I love motor racing and regularly compete in the major Historic and Vic State race meetings.

I hope I get to see a GFC flag.
