As expected, just flogged them but not as much as it coul dhave been.
Jezza, Neale get 4 each.

Atkins massive, Holmes disposal not at its best thru the game.

A bit slow to get going post bye but 2nd 1/3 busted it open

George Stevens noted for 20 touches and a really impressive game 1.
Most players were good.... Even OH got a few moments so some confidence to be taken there but still out of it for long periods.

Good to get CS the W in his 350th as coach.

No major in jury and kept Duncan on the bench so maybe a VFL booking for him.

Everyone else helped get the 4 points and some % which was the goal.

Wont be able to sleep in Q1 next week vs Giants so hope we are done with the slow starts.

No slipping over but the skills were down and a bit fumbly early so done with that please.

George Stevens:

21 possessions
Leading score involvements on the ground with 14
= leading centre clearances with 4
= leading clearances with 8

Not a bad debut.

Weird. Why mention OH in the first post. He was poor.
This board is a ****ing joke at times. No one can be criticised.

Ollie Henry has again been shit today, every man getting a lick of the ice cream and he literally had to get a charity gift from JC for his only meaningful contribution.

Puts in **** all effort most of the game and has been shit most of the year.
Your weekly gripes about OH means you've just got to have at least one player to hang it on. He again showed some signs of what he can do, and tackling efforts suggest he is putting in. He may be down on what he can do, but many of us, including the coach and MC see that he is worth persevering with.

sorry didnt realise there were protocols for first thread posts.

Your first post after GFC picked Max Holmes was "yuck."

Should I be more wrong like you?

'twas a slow, fumbly start, but eventually we warmed up and got the machine going.

Thought everyone had their moments, but for mine Stevens was a standout.

His debut game, and allegations of being too slow for seniors, but he was like a tractor in the guts. He mightn't have a lot of speed but boy he has some torque.

We blew out some cobwebs, we got miles in the legs, we got a solid win, and best of all, no injuries.

Congrats to Cameron for his 700th, and to Scott for his 350th.

Mate, I got slaughtered for mentioning it during the game.
Apparently we have 35 stars on the list and everyone's firing. The 5 losses are just bad luck.

O.Henry was piss poor yet again tonight.

How do you change the narrative Dubs...
Change performances. He was not good tonight.

Good first half. Disappointing second half. Richmond with players injured still matched Geelong in the second half, looked better than Geelong in the last quarter. Close and Ollie Henry are not in our best 22. Best thing about the game was Stephens' debut and Guthrie's game.
I don’t know what game you were watching but it wasn’t that one you just described
