If Duncan wasn't already staying in the team another week (he should have, body permitting), he definitely is now.Ahhhh heck

I was thinking we may give Stewart a bit more time to get cherry ripe. Otherwise, agreed.Selection should be pretty simple if Stewart is ok.
Stewart, Kolo, Miers in.
Humphries, Stanley, Wiltshire out.
I think we have to remember that when we recruited him he was only the Young Player of the Year in GAA. He was a youngster there, albeit playing in the county team. He is still young in absolute terms with a lot of growth ahead. He going to become a really good player imo. The patience by the club is amazing to allow players to grow.
Interesting that ZGuthrie was on the mark for Crisp. If you had your time again you would have either Blitz or Neale manning a kicker from 50 out, particularly late in the match. Something to think about if it ever happens again.
Funny how the company man Bont took it personally… if he was honest to himself - then he’d agree - you’d want to play the Pies at the G.It always takes me while to warm to players recruited from other clubs. As an example, as good as Isaac Smith was for us, I still feel like he is more Hawthorn than Geelong. But this new Smith has completely won me over in, what, 6 games. He is infectious, both playing wise and personality. I reckon this is rubbing off on the others too. Bailey Smith is already a bone fide Geelong man. "better than Ballarat" haha
He was good enough to execute, we were dead in the water - he’s such a great finisherHis interview after the game was all class. I've never really seen him speak much in the past. He actually seems like a really good bloke. I kinda feel sorry for him if I take my Geelong hat off.
At the end of the day, he wasn't good enough to execute, so that's all that matters. It wasn't to be for him. Well done on his achievement, though. 245 games in a row is bloody incredible.

I can't recall the timeline, but Maynard was being a bit of a dick in a pile and Dangerfield bent down and whispered something in his ear. I don't think Maynard liked it.Loved how Danger bullied Maynard. And Maynard complains to the umpire. He does far more aggressive things to players.
Sounds like we should send Smith to the Butters recruitment drive if rumours are true it’s down to PA, dogs and us.Bailey Smith gives the Doggies a drive by when Moons says how good to be in front of 83k at the G...
Baz..." wont get that at Ballarat"
ZING
GO Catters
Paddy does not like bullies - he’s just got that look in his face.I can't recall the timeline, but Maynard was being a bit of a dick in a pile and Dangerfield bent down and whispered something in his ear. I don't think Maynard liked it.
This wasn't the Dangerfield mark. That was classic, and embarrassing for Maynard.
Also him bumping Mannagh after his goal, so typical he does that to a player smaller than him.
Daicos making it a 3 on 3 was inspired.A rare blemish for Blitz. There wasn't enough congestion to play it that way, when he was kind of gripped softly he had to get hands out or throw it on the boot. Collingwood played it well though.
Not sure what's more embarrassing.Yes, the result doesnt change that.
Can we borrow some defenders from someone, holy faark!!!Ahhhh heck

I bloody hope if Stewart isn't ready or even he be better having 3 more weeks off for the best of him and for him to get back to 90% id be all in favour of him missing more gamesSelection should be pretty simple if Stewart is ok.

Humphries, Stanley, Wiltshire out.
But GAJ is a much more grounded person.Gaz has the same aura his dad had previously.
Scott said Henry is a chance. Can we borrow some defenders from someone, holy faark!!!
As much as i dont like it with little match practice they may need to play KoloScott said Henry is a chance.
But yes, it is a concern for next week.
Hopefully Stewart is back too
