I feel like we are good enough to be competitive every single week... but not good enough to win the flag or get it done in a finals series.

Every game we have lost we could have got up in... but I still hardly rate us.

There are a thousand ways we could have won it (Clohesy on sooner, Mannagh hitting shots, Dangerfield not trying to pass off to Neale etc etc) but none of it really matters.

The way GWS play against us it’s like someone has put a gun to all their families heads at home. They only do this to us as well.

Dominated on scores from stoppages.

Won the clearance, inside 50 and mark inside 50 count comfortably. Were all over them for large periods.

But we were absolutely torched on scores from turnovers, made so many fundamental errors and were shocking in front of goal. Our depleted defence was shredded to pieces.

Hogan the difference in the end (22 disposals and 7 goals - GAS areas). Aish, Taylor and Whitfield off half back too.

Didn't think we would beat them. Their a genuine flag threat and we are merely making up the numbers.

Smith was brilliant all day. We would be in a world of hurt if not for his influence in midfield. A consistent gut running machine.
Holmes pathetic in the third quarter when it was there to be won.

Blicavs had a decent game in the ruck but he's never been a good set shot on goal. I wasn't even excited when he took the mark. Most of our tackling efforts were piss poor, that and basic skill errors have cost us in every loss this season.

All game not enough pressure as the ball is waltzed out of their defence for scores. Stringer injured and Greene cooked and still beat us.

Clohesy and Clark not good enough for a combined game as the sub players. Mullin must tag or he's useless.

Cameron plays everywhere but where he won a Coleman these days.

To name a few don't put their body on the line.

Our forwards aren't accountable and we're always screwed against good kicking sides after a behind because the guarding grass crap doesn't work. Watch the second quarter again when we played man on man.

We have about 4 players giving their absolute all and the rest don't give a ****.

SDK so bad. One of his worst games. Outplayed, out positioned, drops his head, doesn’t follow up. Really bad.

Even with an injury list so deep that we didn't have a single player in the 2s that had ever played a full game i still did not expect to lose that.

Classic Geelong. Lose the games at home that we should win.

Had that in the bag. Mannagh could have iced the game twice and kicked it out on the full instead.

GWS got another win they didn't deserve.

We now play Port away, then Bulldogs at home after a 5-day break.

The most disappointing thing was the complete lack of intensity from half the team.

Bad kicks/skills etc can happen and cost us dearly but the half arsed efforts from a few are inexcusable.

SDK, Stengle, Duncan, Gryan had absolutely no intention of jumping on the grenade. Like ever.

Neale came to the club as a ruck and I’m convinced he’s never done it before. Getting pushed off in the defensive goal square then punching it over the fence coat is two goals
