A Warrior did you say? Wow thanks I am very edified by that..thanks.

As for your attempts at writing something that almost sounds interesting or creative becomes rather absurd when it is realised you are supporting the notion of Bomber fans doing your dirty work on here...I am proud to be a warrior...

You are a self styled internet wimp with a limp penis and a moist rear end waiting for the next succulent Bomber fan that cums along ready to stiffen your resolve old chump...
Just out of curiousity, when is your next lead role in Brokeback Geelong?

Well as is evident from this thread I missed out on the role... in fact the auditioning queue was enormous just like going to watch a hawk and bomber classic man to man encounter... one guy in a Hawk jumper..and another guy in a Bomber jumper...Tasmanian countrysides...true love bro..;)

You do that, champ.

I'll stick to writing twaddle about the footy and you can continue your internet search for your soulmate.

Good luck!
Relax, Chewy. Just go and watch a video of the Hawk flags of the 80's. I'm sure that will make you feel better about yourself.

As you earlier said Hawkk - not all. From your posts you haven't been once. However, if we get provoked there's no reason why we can't return fire.
But that's beside the point.

Its like saying all Geelong supporters and players carry handbags.

Both are ignorant statements with no substance.

Or we could watch the Demons last flag....but they hadnt invented video back then. Stay out of this one. Its not your team so mind your own business.

Comedy and wits are not their strong suit...we all know that...talking themselves up for the past decade and living in a bubble and cocoon of self love is what they do best...
I think you need to check yourself and figure out who instigated this. It was an Essendon supporter. If you hate Hawthorn so be it, but dont expect us to sit here and listen to your banter without giving it back to you with interest. I certainly have never started a thread stating I hate Geelong. Infact the Hawks and Geelong have some pretty strong ties. Shame you have to go to this extent to express your hatred for another team.

I wore 'em all out, no word of a lie. My favourite part of the '88 GF is during the 2nd quarter when from a centre bounce, Hawthorn force the ball forwards about 50m without a single possession, just a series of bone-jarring bumps, knock-ons, tackles and other desperate acts. It was a shame Ayresy didn't quite finish off all the good work and kicked a point. Best bit of commentary is when Cometti says Melbourne look like a kid at the wrong end of a driving range, getting paid 30 cents a bucket.

Whenever I need to feel better about myself, there is no substitute for Big Footy first thing in the morning, when I get to work.
Nothing like starting the day by reading the posts of an army of dickheads to remind myself I'm the best. ;)

Tell me WAG, are you the only Cat fan who sings the words to El Toreador after a win?
Wasnt it St Pats day recently...so many great songs..like this little gem I found floating along in the gutter recently...

There was a young Hawk called Mc Slurry
Who needed to sh1t in a hurry
It browned and it brimmed
And it slipped off the rim
He scooped it all up into curry

There was a young Don called Mc Worry
Who used to hang out with Mc Slurry
He pumped up his tyres
And crossed all his wires
And slurped on the same sweet old curry

This is not just about the Hawks to all those loser victim mentality supporters out there...

This isnt about ass slapping Bomber fans either...

Its about seeing the two supporters so arm in arm and so closely aligned and working together on here ...its truly pathetic. Any supporter who contrives involvement in this unholy alliance is for now and evermore a complete disgrace to the colours.

Chewy if you want to be the best at that mate ie letting your team and true culture down...you go right ahead bro...

There was a filthy old queer from Geelong
Who was prone to stroking his schlong
He'd hang himself from a door knob
Til he choked and his end throbbed
Cos he liked the feeling prolonged

He was educated and knew right from wrong
But his needs meant it wouldn't be long
Before he was back on the bathroom floor
While whistling El Toreador
And casting his shame over Geelong

From reading these forume I always thought Richmond and Hawthorn had a spite thing going with each other but after this morning's two 'pearlers' from catman I'm wondering what Geelong are so jealous about.
First questioning their backline and then questioning their kids. Are you Catters so jealous of Hawthorn or is it plain, massive insecurity to a team that thumped you twice last year and over the years plays Kardinia park better than you do?

People in glass Geelong houses shouldn't throw stones. History will shiow that last year NEITHER of you made the finals and that they twice whipped you.
In my time here I've noticed that Geelong fans are possibly the most bitter in the competition. You can't be too harsh on them though, they've probably suffered more than any other club.

I'll put my hand up as the most bitter Cats fan there is, bar none.

Hawthorn has a large contingent of smug, arrogant supporters that grew up on premierships every couple of years. Because of this, they pontificate about the values their club has compared to other teams and why that has made them successful (team orientated, family club, bollocks like that). Which while tiresome and annoying, is almost understandable - until you move to the last 15 years. Fact is they've been as crap as anyone in that period but they still won't shut up. I'm taking great pleasure seeing young Hawthorn fans realising that maybe flags don't come along that easily after all. It's nice to see other teams enjoying the same black world Geelong fans do. I daresay St.Kilda, Melbourne and Footscray fans (maybe Richmond too) know what I mean.

And for the really dumb fans, I know you beat us twice last year - so what? We thrashed you twice in 2004 but don't go on about it. It's ancient f**king history.

And for the record, I don't hate Hawthorn in isolation - I violently hate them all.
thats a wonderful funny post i love it :D:p:D

interesting stats but selective I must say. How do you like these stats:

from the period of 1897-2006 Geelong has played Hawthorn 138 times
Geelong have won 72 times, Hawks have won 65 and 1 draw. Geelong has won 52% of all H&A games against the Hawks.

Interestingly when you look at Finals appearances the stats are as follows:

Geelong: played 92 finals, won 37 finals, lost 54, 1 draw
Hawks played 60 finals, won 37 finals, lost 23. Hawks have a better winning %, because they have appeared in less final series than Geelong.

Pretty even up to this point but this is where the hawks win:

Geelong: 13 GF's played, won 6, lost 8 (1897 there was no GF but declared RU for being 2nd on the ladder)
Hawks:14 GF's played, won 9, Runer Up 5 times
Geelong are Green with envy, greener than Kermit the Frog.

We are better. Regardless of where we play, Tasmania or MCG, we will wipe your sorry asses off the playing arena. We have won 9, NINE, 3, Three more than Geelong. Eight, 8, of these since 1963. Just give up and accept your mediocrity. Accept the fact you will never see another premiership, let alone three of them.

From the end of World War II:
Hawthorn 9 Premierships.
1961, 1971, 1976, 1978, 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1991.
Hawthorn competed in a record equalling 7 consecutive Grand Finals from 1983-1989, still hold the record winning margin.
Hawthorn has a league record of 9 night premierships.
1967, 1968, 1977, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1991, 1992, 1999.
2 Michael Tuck Medallists in Paul Hudson (1992), Paul Hudson (1999).
Three lots of consecutive night premierships.
Using the AFL's NAB Cup/Premiership double, Hawthorn should have won $3million dollars retrospectively, 1986, 1988, 1991.

Geelong 3 premierships.
1951, 1952, 1963.
Geelong 2 night premierships.
1961, 2006.

Both teams have fared well in individual awards.

Nice to see you articulating yourself Mr F. Bowl. Refreshing. Usually you're limited to short sharp quips of drivel and tiresomely repetitive repartee.

The reality is and few would argue that Geelong should have won a few flags since 1963, they have had the sides and played in enough GFs to do so...but havent due to a certain lack of professionalism which is true.

Luck sometimes plays a part also. Tiger's player Swift marking the ball over the goal line in the 1967 GF but no score paid deep into that last quarter...Leigh Colberts' mark disallowed in 1997 the momentum shifts and the Crows go on to win the flag that year...If the 1989 GF went a few minutes longer...sometimes luck plays a part too. Yabby Jeans was a big believer in luck so careful what you say about luck.

There is also the issue of the old player zones. Take Carlton for instance when they were able to raid the strong Bendigo league...wow fancy that they start winning all those flags, hmmmm...of course money never played a part. Yes the old player zones prior to the draft....bit before my time but I know enough to realise it did have a direct effect on how certain teams faired at different stages. I mean the draft was basically introduced to stop sides like Hawthorn ever forming again. We can see the recent evidence from the interstate clubs when given a leg up to some choice local talent when those sides were being founded. Two flags Geelong lost in 92 and 94 were basically to a West Australian State side...lucky for Hawthorn they froze in the headlights the first time round in 1991...but brushed Hawthorn aside in 1992. West Coast for a number of years were able to draft any choice player they wanted from the state in forming that side. Is that fair?

Dont always look for the mediocre answer yourself MR F Bowl. If you want to call a club mediocre...thats cool, thats your opinion...but make sure you dont do it in a mediocre way...looks rather purile and hypocritical dont you think?

Had the 1989 Grand Final gone longer you would've won. You kill me. Had Hawthorn gone the punch in the first quarter, their would've been flat cats everywhere
